Far more interesting and realistic than Dracula facing Apocalypse since the latter would utterly destroy the former. Heck since Sinister sometimes serves Apocalypse he could use the idea of Dracula pissing off Apocalypse as a kind of overarching and hidden danger that Dracula might have rather risk of awakening or pissing off.
The story sucked, no pun intended. Apocalypse sticks out like a sore thumb through it all and both powerhouses barely even use their strongest powers. I mean, come on, The Big A is supposedly the origin of all mutant powers and all he could do is be a towering Swiss Knife? And no true demonic form for Dracula? No brides vs. horsemen? Lots and lots of missed epic story beats there...
@@-redacted_by_youtube Now that you mention it, the art should have leaned more on the gothic side as well... More shadows, full moons, hallways lit with but candles, mist-ridden Victorian streets--and maybe the combined overall ambience of Mignola and McFarlane.
You would be surprised. Apocalypse got one shotted by the Absorbing Man during the Avengers+Xmen saga. Crusher Creel absorbed the Properties of Thor's Axe 🪓 Jarnborn. That Axe has the ability to kill immortals. Kang slew the Celestial Exitar with it. Exitar is one of the most powerful Celestials in the Celestial Pantheon. Cunning and Strategy can overcome raw power sometimes.
It should be noted that prior to Absorbing Man lowering the boom on Apocalypse. Thor had seriously wounded Apocalypse while in a Berserker rage and was about to kill him before Loki teleported him away from the fight. Absorbing Man sensed the Asgardian power in the Axe absorbed it and laid out Apocalypse.
Apocalypse is my top favorite villain above Thanos actually, then Dracula is number 3 for me, but Apocalypse is underrated and under appreciated in the marvel universe imo he’s top tier
Apocalypse according to Marvel is so far beyond even Dracula that this script is incredibility inconsistent. Apocalypse can control his own molecular structure meaning that Dracula could not influence him with his bite when he can just literally remove that vampire bites infection from his own body. This script just points out how inconsistent authors.
The mutants Blink, and Chamber are both related to Apocalypse. Chambers ancestor is Jack Starsmore, and Blink is the great granddaughter of Frederick Slade.
Absolutely when you think of apocalypse, his mutant powers, and then him being merged with celestial technology, this guy supposed to be like unstoppable, a universal threaton every level
Back in the Day Drac was a formidable villain before Marvel nerfed him and turned Drac into a jobber. Drac went toe to toe with Thor,Silver Surfer,Ghost Rider,Doctor Strange and gave them all fits.Drac even formed a alliance with Dr. Doom.
@kennyboggs3676 true that but I'm talking about the silver age of comics where writers were pretty consistent with characters and their abilities.Even tho Thor and Surfer are far far physically stronger than Drac his formidable powers as vampire lord leveled him up. Drac could summon storms with considerable fury and he negated Thor's ability to manipulate the weather. He also mentally attacked Surfer to the extent that he couldn't properly control his power Cosmic. Drac has a decent level of superhuman strength comparable to Spiderman. But as a hand to hand combatant he is legit. Drac knew Doom's ancestors and spared them and Doom repaid him by becoming his ally. In turn Drac withheld vampires from feeding on Latverians inside Doom's country.
@kennyboggs3676 Dracula is empowered by the first vampire Varnae a Atlantean sorcerer who became a vampire by using the Dark Darkhold via the elder god Chthon. Ole Drac got some serious juice.
@@robertmartinjr.4537 when he fought Thor back in the day he had drunk sif's blood, which gave him the power of a god to contend with Thor during their battle. It elevated his ability to control weather so that neither he nor Thor could do it, and also enhanced all his other abilites to make him a challenge.
You know Moon Knights having a rough time collecting when he has to recruit Apocalypse to be his collection officer to get back the money Dracula owes him.
Even After all that Apocalypse didn't truly finish Dracula off , but maybe Von Helsinki may take advantage of the moment. If Helsinki doesn't complete the task of burning Dracula Through the Holy ritual There's a good chance Dracula will certainly show up again more powerful than before.
thats not noise suppression, thats lowering the bitrate. back in the day we'd call it 'cooked', and was infamous of MP3s that were downloaded from websites in the 90s (im from the pre-Napster days, if that tells my age), and you would need programs like MP3 DeCooker, and it was because the MP3 would sound worse than this. you can tell he's around 96mbps, meaning its cooked and compressed, its why certain parts sound like they do (like a tube with water).
@@DaiAtlus79 Nope. I'm familiar with the effect you mentioned, but that is, in fact, noise suppression. It creates a watery, metallic effect on the recorded voice because it's set too high, and is cutting out too much of the air being picked up throughout the various frequencies. The environment they record in is probably a bit noisy, so they cranked it up to cut the background hiss. I've used/experimented with these plus a whole host of tools and plugins for many years streaming/creating/engineering/producing music/podcasts/video editing. Side note - I was born in 87, so the whole "You wouldn't understand because back in my day" bit won't fly here. Sorry :) Not trying to start shit - just letting you know, that I know what I know through experience. I don't just make shit up. You can see what I'm talking about with a cursory search or if you own any DAW's and can test/see for yourself what heavy suppression does to recordings. It's a similar end result.
Huh. I had in a backstory (of an AU) that during WWI, Apocalypse destroyed Dracula in order to operate out of his castle. Didn't realize they would actually have the pair go at it.
Apocalypse has always been done dirty in the comics and lets not even talk about that horrific movie version. In truth he actually has the same power as Plastic Man, the ability to fully control every molecule in his body. He can copy and steal any power he comes across, can change his size to Celestial level if he chooses and increase his strength to equal levels. He can drain the life force from others, create energy blasts that can disintegrate almost anything. He is resistant to magic and has a vast intelligence augmented by alien technology. He has 5000yrs of combat knowledge and has trained in a gladiator style arena with Titans, where he came out as a champion. For all that, and more, he constantly loses to characters as pathetic as Nightcrawler ( comparatively ). His greatest weakness/flaw is his arrogance and it causes him to make mistakes in his plans. In a one to one fight however there is almost nobody he cannot defeat. Im sorry but as powerful as he is, Dracula is simply nowhere near the same level.
Dracula wins. It’s only because it wasn’t one-on-one, it was 2 on one that Apocalypse doesn’t meet his fate. Hellsing interfering is cheating. Dracula was able to bite Apocalypse and after it takes its toll, Dracula was able to control him completely. If Hellsing didn’t jump in with Holy Water, Dracula would be controlling him. That makes me wonder, if Dracula could control the first Mutant, could he control all mutants. Meaning his blood could control the patient zero’s dna, it should by default control all mutant DNA.
Dracula is actually fictional character that evolved from a real life tyrant named Vlad the Impaler. He was not a vampire. He didn’t drink blood, but he did torture people by having them placed on a pike asked first and gravity would do the rest they would slowly impale themselves on said pike the pike would go up their ass through therehips through their stomach and into their chest cavity, Vladimer was up there with Hannibal of Carthage, Genghis Khan, and all the ancient tyrants that ruled the world from Caligula to Hitler Stalin
Dracula is far too weak to go up against Omega level mutants and even alpha level mutants. Let alone Apocalypse 😂. Unless this is a writers favoritism crap
This version of Apocalypse was Not Wise like a King and more of a Stubborn jackass? My thoughts on this Apocalypse wasn't a fan. He was a weak version. But good comic Thanks! Dracula should have been weaker and shouldn't of had the advantage. But he made Apocalypse look like a FOOL! 😂
the apocalypse problem= His powerset is sometimes Thanos and sometimes Simple Sabertooth style of 'Hulk Smash'.. ~~Original Powerset Size manipulation at will... that i remember(IIRC) in my GenX era of THE GOAT= Thee Clairmont. Uncanny X-m,en for about 100 issues was one of the best backlogs any comic fan can ask for..
HISHE - Apocalypse and Van Helsing... Stare in shock as Prince Vlad of Wallachia, raises his sword, and asks them both: "Are you ready to die..? MOTHER FUCKER..?!" 😈 ...only for a Time traveling Blade to appear and shoots him EDTA, declaring "Some Mutha Fuckers, are always tryin' to ice skate uphill" ✊🏿😎 🤣✌🏼😉💨
Why people started to claim that vlad the impailer was a dracula, like there is actual series in netflix with voice over acting by the actor of Tywin lannister, and it tells the factual story. But i never figured it out, why they didnt give dracula just his own origin story why it was connected with one ruler from europe who acutally ruled kinda small terrotory and lost the rebellion that wasn't even needed. He fought against his own brother who loved mehmed the 2nd and they all 3 were like brothers at one point. They had to live as wards in ottoman empire, because their father started a rebellion against mehmeds father who was sultan at the time. They were acutally treated very well, and they literally got best education in the world. Also they were thought how to fight with sword, spear and bow. As well as horse riding skills and everything that was modern at the moment. So i always saw vlad kinda as nobody and never understood why people claim him to be so important dude in our history ?
Poor story writing Apocalypse would have curb stomped Dracula or turned him into the death horseman. Besides wouldn’t bitting apocalypse result in the death of a vampire. The big guy has the anatomy of the thing.
