The first time I heard this song, I almost cried at the harsh beauty it evoked within me. Epic doesn't even come close to defining what this is. Some of my friends hate classical but love this band. I love the video, especially when Perttu walks in shadow, it just fits his personality. These guys are just intense.

to be more specific, i'd like to give you an example: if my house is all made with stones, or marble. Is it okay to say that my house is a mix of modern and prehistoric, or modern with classical. of course not. Prehistoric architecture has it's own parameters, and classical does the same. i hope i've made my point.

Yeah I think that's what I meant electric violins. I guess because I seen this guy Mark Wood. His electric violin series called Viper has frets like a guitar on the neck. So it looks a lot like a half violin/guitar lol. You should check those out though if you haven't seen them. That's why it's like confusing since his designs are crazy!

I've heard of a cello-looking instrument that was 15 feet tall; 2 people played it, one below the other on a ladder plucking the strings. Now this was in the 17th or 18th century, and the conductor had two of these things and on top of that he loaded down the orchestra with so much bass that the rafters shook. Has anybody heard of this?
