My family is big on board games, so for Christmas this year we did a board game white elephant exchange. My fiancé and I got this game and I am super excited to play! Seems like it’ll take a bit to get used to the rules, but I’m up for the challenge!
Played for the first time with my son tonight (I was Mission Control and he was the Astronauts). We didn't adhere completely to the time limit rules unless doing a crisis puzzle as we had to to stop a few times to check rules. We made it to the end of the Gemini mission but didn't complete the 2nd experiment and ended up crashing the capsule into the ocean without any communications.
Meeple University I think a good house rule (once the players know the game) is to use 4 minutes if you have 3 astronauts, 5 minutes if you have 2 astronauts, and 6 if you have only 1.
@@aaronsugar7228 Could be, especially with the harder missions. I believe in you can do whatever you want, it's your game. We can't do that on camera of course, but when you play, go for your life :D
The instruction booklet says there are 10 experiment cards for Gemini but my game only came with 8. Doesn't really matter. Love this video though. Thank you so much!
Love the game, but have to ask after flipping through the manual and watching the video. I may just be missing the obvious, but what are the red astronaut markers for??
I was in Target today picking up Ticket to Ride NY for my kids and it was on the bottom shelf. I almost got it but other than this run through hadn’t seen really any reviews to make a strong case to my wife that it was critical.
How to Play with Stella & Tarrant? It can't be that difficult to play with them. Even before watching the video, I would have guessed that you could just ask them. They don't seem that difficult to get along with.
