A Broken-Hearted Liberal I think he was expecting something to go wrong on her end. I was playing a multiplayer Zelda game with a guy who used one of those plug in cheat things, and it caused some glitches on his end that I was able to capitalize on. There was another time he couldn’t kill a boss because it shared his buffs.
I assumed he expected her to realize the error she made when she cheated. Made her realize that cheating is wrong. Apollo is too proud to be a Spheromancer, so much that he's willing to give her a chance because she's a Spheromancer too. So he decide to hold his idea of reporting her until he feels she wont change. This is actually proven on their duel at the jungle when he is actually about to report her.
It's like he's an admin, like the dudes that used to be a big deal in the older .Hacks I think. :p Funny how you work with the admins instead in G.U... :? (Although I think you eventually did in the old games too, but it like... took a while for them to reach a compromise. :p I could have sworn Kite almost got deleted but Haseo never did, funny how that works. :?).
My favorite is around the end of the game where he straight up says “my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined” that actually got a chuckle outa me.
If her damage is not Sergeyhacked, but her items and levels are, she makes a cute happy expression when Sergey tells her how OP she is and that she has a lot of items.
"THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SKILLS! THIS IS MADNESS!!" The essence of a NG+ run, I suppose. This line, along with almost all of Apollo's other lines, is pure gold. I hope I can see them all on a NG+ run...
That was honestly the best part of NG+ sad that nobody realize that You can die in 1 hit if you toggle Prepare to Hi. Would love to see them react to that.
Sergey blames it on a bug and everyone else just says that you should invest in better gear, defense and hp. It is nothing really special unfortunately
They do notice and comment on it during every one of the Apollo duels. It's just that those are the only fights where you losing can be canon. Everywhere else you just canonically are some god who mysteriously never gets hit.
Well that's a very interesting scenario you're mentioning here bc if Apollo would blame Lea to cheat just bc he watches her dealing overly high damage but simultaneously would be too unfocused to notice that his attacks could ALSO 1-hit kill Lea, then ultimately, Apollo would be completely wrong by blaming Lea even cheating herself, since - from an objective point of view - that would actually be a super fair and even ruleset by saying "first strike equals win" from either side meaning just bc Apollo has too little skill to hit her first and still complaining about something he simply isn't used to, despite everything's still being super fair, all that would be a behavior of a super stubborn person completely blinded by their own ideology being unable to think a bit outside the box. In that specific case of what the video has shown, Apollo is completely correct in his reaction, as he was able to hit Lea and it didn't scratch her by any means, but as long as he couldn't land any hit, there was, objectively, no reason at all for his blaming.
If you're level 3 coming out of Rhombus tutorial, he calls you out for being level 2 going into it. If you somehow enter as level 1 but leave as level 3, he says the same thing about you being level 2(don't ask me how I know, an editor may have been involved...). My favorite is still when you're level 1. He still calls you out for cheating despite you putting yourself at a handicap. I love Apollo.
If you have Sergey hax and prepare to hi! both turned on, and you get hit, he will be confused about how your defense can be so low, and call it cheating as well (also, Emilie expresses concern over whether you are ok )
@@vinceunknown1935 There's a guy you meet in a town who apparently got to Level 99 by just farming Hedgehags (the beginning enemy), for 1 exp, nonstop. I think it's possible...but it's also insanity.
I... actually kinda did that (not to level 65 though, but to somewhere around 25-30). The thing is, I am a perfectionist and I don't wanna leave Autumn Rise BEFORE I concluded everything (especially when Emilie threatened me she will leave after qe reached Bergen). When I get to Apollo in Bergen Trail, Apollo mentioned something like "Ahh no wonder you took so long to get here, you grind your level up so much" and then later on everyone from your guild will comment on how you are too high leveled to be only at Bergen Trail. When you win at something, the party will said "well, no wonder looking at those high level" lol.
Okay, come to think of it, I wonder if the psycho faces plays a role sometimes in S-Rank modes now where her friends borderline have a reason to be scared of her for real, LOL. :p
Dude, there's a guy in Basin Keep that traumatized Lea for being Level 99 just because he fought noob hedgehogs in Autumn's Rise, it's possible to get a high level without cheating Apollo... XD He should just go after that guy, assuming he would even win, LOL. :p
Aw, now I'm sad that I didn't bring my level 62 lea to the ng+. I decided to go with everything except the level because the only way for the game to be enjoyable with battles would be with the boosters. But look at this, those new dialogs are gold.
Well, you can also select "get on my level" which would make sure that every enemy would match your stats. This way it's also easier to grind up to lvl 99
@@Sheevlord ^^this. The game becomes waaay too cheese/easy if you bring over your lvl and gear. However, if you want to grind out to lvl 99 as you said, the *easiest* way to do it is as you described. You gain dog crap exp if you carry your lvl over
@@Sheevlord oooooo, there's a way to make the game scale to your level? I didn't know that! Well, when we get a timeline for the epilogue DLC, I will be sure to replay the game like that. XD
2:33 Apollo: You cheater! You've been cheating! Not only the game, but yourself! You didn't grow or improve! >< Lea Seto Kaiba: Screw the RULES! I have infinite money and rare candies, scrubmancer! :P
Appolo is gonna get triggered by me during the 4th duel when he sees my defence build. Even when he hits me I expect damage taken to stay pretty low. Only thing that scares me is that frozen star, I haven't found a way around it. This time around I'll just activate a shield and tell Apollo to enjoy the recoil when I live through the attack just barely
I should do a complete playthrough with Sergey Hax and do a supercut of all the funny lines. I just need to free up some HDD space for video capture before I do that tho.
@@Sheevlord Plot twist, Shizuka overrides the system to get on an even playing field. That would be a crazy way to punish players. XD The A.I. Is generally harder to hit in the PvP sequence. So Shizuka would be crazy difficult if that happens. 😂
Yes actually, she will think of you even more as a fake. You also get to have a rematch against her 2 times instead of 1. Also later she will ask Sergey if he is responsible for Lea's damage glitch.
I can’t wait for switch new game plus. Lea looks like she is really gonna be amazing. XD Shouting her name with those power crazed eyes. I died. 😂😂 Even Emilie thought what she was doing to the poor guy was cruel. XD I have to admit, I did feel a bit sorry for Apollo here. Though, I just loved Lea even more for it. 😂😂
@@biggreen8020 BTW, playing with Sergey's Hax unlocks a lot of funny dialogue later down the line. I might make a supercut and upload it in the future (once my false copyright strikes expire and I can upload again)
Ok but now I HAVE to know, in chapter 10 when he originally finds out she was indeed "cheating" but forgives it, does his reaction change considering how much more severe it is here?
Apollo will still call you a cheater in both cases: -Under level 3: He will rant about you should be level 3 and say you are cheating. -Equal to level 3: He will explain he saw you before the dungeon not being level 1.
Well, a lot of these lines are only available in NG+ but he is memeworthy even during the first playthrough. Even his name (Apollo) and catchphrase ("Justice!") are a reference to Apollo Justice from Ace Attorney.
