See this is what's missing in today's music, something that brings about positive and love . How great this was to see and hear, music that takes you back in time. 💕💕
💔 ❣️ Yes, brings u Rt bk in time. A time that we wish never ended, the very best of times, and the very best of Artists. And now.. Memories. I just thank God I lived in that Era...
TEDDY PENDERGRASS WAS SINGING THAT SONG EXACTLY LIKE HE ALWAYS HAD SANG IT, IT SOUNDS SO GOOD, I LOVE TEDDY PENDERGRASS AND HIS POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS LIFE AND THE UNSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, HE WAS A GREAT SINGER AND HE DIDN'T GIVE UP SINGING, I SAY BRAVO.
This was so amazing i'm so happy that I was able to witness this.I grew up with these wonderful artist, and this kind of talent will always be much appreciated by my era. These songs touch the heart in such an embracing way. When I think of growing up in the 60's and the struggles endured by young people, it taught us respect for life, others and who we were. And when these artist came about with the love placed throughout their songs it gave joy, love and much appreciation.I have loved Teddy Pendergrass like forever when he sang with Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, he was definitely a heartbreaker with the women because we all loved him. The noise now days is accepted by young people, but i'll forever be in love with the "Old School Music."
I love this kind of music. This is what I grew up with. Something with a lot of meaning. These are all Great artists and I happy I had a chance to witness this moment.
I witnessed it from my living room, hi fi, transistor radio, car radio and wherever else I could. We were all blessed to witness that era of real music, and I am still enjoying it with my grandchildren who have told me they prefer ‘our’ music over what’s currently happening..standing the test of time.😅❤
Thank you for providing us with these magnificent performers. We are so grateful that they were in our life and brought so my joy, wonderful music and memories.
All dem brothers were in top form! Perfecto! I just smiled, smiled, and smiled sum mo! Especially amazing was how each voice complimented the one before and they genuinely enjoyed each other. The audience was witness to a very unique performance; truly! pwg
You Tube is where I tuned in after missing Venus/ Serena's live matches when they were younger. Now, it's amazing how they managed to research and come up with so much good/horrible black history. I am subscribing as soon as the IRS gives some of my money back, lol. Cuz the real history will not be taught in school. However, maybe they will write in the books the many inventions, etc, that we accomplished benefiting, not just us, people around the world. Example a black female inventing and updating furnaces. Young girls would be thrilled about that. Or, a black female who became sick, passed away about 100yrs ago, leaving a legacy of cells that wouldn't die, kept multiplying and were sent around the world in the 1950's!! Hmm talk about DNA! Her cells are being used to this day to help humanity fight this Covid pandemic.
I still have tears listening to music from the moments And days when I was 18 20 years young Thank You For Reminding me of the love and life I still have
So awesome to hear everyone singing their hearts out. No beef between each other. Nothing but the utmost respect. I wished they had Luther Vandross in there too. That would of been heavenly to watch/listen. However, these men aren't that far from it either. Thank you
Amazing ! After all these years the power of the Apollo and the performers that take the stage is incredible. Singers, musicians, masters all. Lets not forget the folks behind the scene that help bring us this magic. Thank you !
OMG, WHAT A DELIGHT to hear these amazing voices and feast my eyes on these fine specimen of men! Thank you soooo much for sharing this memory. It blessed my soul!
They are all kings of the Apollo. Chuck Jackson is as sharp as he was when he started; Teddy Pendergrass was, is n will always be a star; Rev AL Green still has that unbelievable energy; Ben E King brings out the sounds of my youth; Brian Mc Knight carries it onward
