I was one of the early buyers of original Phantom. Unfortunately the battery has been a nightmare. And to replace it at a cost of $900 is insane. I don’t even have 300km on it. I informed Apollo and they said it’s normal for battery life to deteriorate. Ok but with less than 300km on a $2500 unit?
Im having the same issue less than 500km on my city pro and apollo is charging me 400 to replace the battery its unfortunate, I only get about 25km on a charge
This is quite sickening to hear. I keep waiting for Apollo to raise the bar, and start treating their customer service department like it's a vitally important part of their company. It's been two years now...and I still wouldn't purchase an Apollo scooter...even if they were all 50% off. It's just not worth the headache, heartache and the hassle that they always seem to be putting their customers through. How do they stay in business with such blatant disregard for customer service? It's a mystery to me!!
Same, I just wish I could ride it in the rain. The new IP66 is exactly what I need. 4400kms on my V3, going strong. Topping up tires every day to 50psi has kept me from having any flats. Replacing worn tires is a real headache though....
They've already put self healing tires on the V4.5 You should use the CST tires instead of the TUOVT tires, they're way thicker and are much harder to puncture. They're a little tough to install cause they're made for a thinner rim. Get some longer screws to help start the rim mounting then go around and swap the normal screws in.
Ive had my ghost around 3 years now, while I wish I used it more often (work from home now) it is a delight to use when I do get it out of the house. The build quality still feels rock solid, range is ridiculous, and i will only consider apollo scooters in the future. They're that good!
SUPER excited Mac!.... will we see any further sneak peeks or an Eloi preview with further detail in the coming weeks leading up to October? Put me down as the first AUSSIE to own one.
Loving all the new features that are to come to the Phantom 2.0 I’m absolutely thankful that I didn’t purchase the pro as it’s too expensive. Currently own a Phantom V4/V4X. But the Phantom 2.0, just looks hella stellar.
I bought my v3 back in January & love it, pushing 1500km already and only issue a tube replacement. I really hope their might be an offer for current Phantom owners. My girl (I named her Apollo Abdul) is only 8mos old & already 2 models behind.
Apollo please tell me you're going to finally surprise us 60v owners with a Mach Controller upgrade path?? 😂 We've been feeling left out and have been holding onto that little glimpse of hope you'd figure it out. With your new 60v version about to release. Please tell me you have! Us 60v owners are out here willing to jump on an upgrade path.
lol I just purchased the Apollo phantom V4X I feel like I should of waited for 2.0 that being said I love my phantom. I live in Montreal my suggestion would be an E scooter helmet from Apollo that connects with the lights would be cool
I would love that but not from Apollo. What I would like to see is an open standard for wireless signal lights that works with many ebikes and escooters and works with helmets and accessories from various manufacturers. Apollo could definitely spearhead the idea though.
I love my Apollo phantom. But @ 2:34 I have to say the boosted Rev scooter has a very and when I say very I mean very smooth throttle. That came out 2019 I believe. It was way ahead of its time.
I have ghost since 3 year and never break i run that on winter rain snow and is a beast is chinese version sold around the world on other brand and never have problem with my scooter
I love my City for its reliability, water resistance, and design. But I do miss the performance of my old Phantom and I think the new version will fill an important gap between the Pro and the City. Can't wait to see it!
Hopefully that mach 3 controller works in the apollo pro.. and you bring the 12 inch 50 mph tires in as an upgrade for the pro. 🖐🏼 i’ll buy that upgrade kit
They got them in stock 2 days ago and sold out again. I somehow subscribed to let me know when in stock and I got an email about it when it came back in stock.
+ wireless charging: park next to or on top of a charging mat. + GoPro-like, no-shake-stabilizing camera streaming live-feed from lens under the rear foot rest, transmitting to the LED screen, to your phone thru the app, etc, so the rider doesn't have to look back to see what's approaching. + Legislation that insurance companies must cover any apartment building/office/workplace for EVs that meet or exceed specific safety certifications. Tenants with devices/scooters/bikes with batteries that meet these standards, may not be evicted on those grounds without a prior event. + Spot for registration plates so experienced riders can join traffic if scooters can be identified & insured as vehicles. + Hey, are you still reading this? Go do something important.
Love my v3 Phantom but I really wish it could be updated to make the blinkers not automatically turn off after just 6 seconds. That’s just dangerous in heavy traffic when I can’t hear the clicking or look down at the washed out display on a sunny day. Please fix this so I can focus on my safety rather than counting one one thousand, two one thousand…six one thousand, click blinker button again, one one thousand…
My '23 Phantom has 4400kms on it & still going strong. Requires lots of routine maintenance, but it's not squeaking/creaking & haven't had a flat tire yet. I will consider upgrading to a '25 Phantom, as it seems to be a Pro, with slightly smaller tires and much better brakes. Dedicated regen is the one thing I've liked most, so as long as it's got that, I'm up for it. I'm more interested in knowing just how much more speed/range we're gonna get from the '25 Pro - should I put my dreams of a Nami Burn-E2 Max aside for now?
I have been waiting since v1 to pull the trigger and frankly am (was?) This close to just buying a Nami Klima instead… It was a bit tempting when Phantom v4x finally addressed my last remaining concern - tubeless tires. Huge thing to check off… Only things I still marginally care about are 1) better IPX since I live in the PNW and also 2) a display that needs no excuses made for it when assessing its direct sunlight readability performance. I will wait and see what you guys have cooking for 2.0. I’ve waiting this long anyhow. Thanks for your commitment to CI!
ipx66! Tesla SUPER charger PORT & ADAPTER!!! oh and a Extremely strong graphene enhanced Neck!!! and Last but not least Graphene enhanced low profile COOLING Fin integrated deck!! I would love to see you work with Graphene Manufacturing Group new Aluminum Graphene ion batteries in the future!!
Please build a 72v phantom 35ah scooter. The greater Vancouver area is a long ride and I’ll like to be able to have the range to be confident that I could do minimum 120km real range
All I can say is make every scooter have the ability to be upgradable now that all have self healing tires. Just stick to a design for each model and build around those designs
I just got my apollo phantom v4x. Is it possible to return it and upgrade it to the latest model? It's going to be a refurbished item after you recertify it.
Yeah, but with anything that generates heat in a heating environment, will over heat. Which city you're from? I live in nyc. I only had one scooter that kind of over heated. Due to the heat ass weather. Lol
I just purchased an Apollo go. I am concerned with the fact that I am unable to turn the scooter complely off while in Park (Locked). I want to be able to lock my scooter both physically and electronically while I'm in class. It doesn't make sense when locking the scooter to leave a huge "P" on the display while I am in class. This will surely draw more attention to the scooter, making it more susceptible to being stolen. I am just asking for an locking mode for when display is off... This way if it is turned on, the owner would need to unlock it with the app. There are other scooters that do this well. For example, both Unagi and Inmotion. Please fix 🙏🏾 Note: I could be wrong, and this is. It the case. If so, please help me figure out how it turns off in Locked mode?😢😢
That remind me, I haven’t used mine bc of some screw that holds the handle bar. They said they would send out a new one out to all customers. They are plastered with negative feedback, can’t even fix something small. Yeah much better companies with higher standards and values out there. Can’t even keep parts in stock, come on now.
Hmmm... I knew the V4X was the end of the line for the current design... didn't consider that's its 'replacement' would continue the name. That's nice to know the name won't end up in the dustbin of Apollo history. I expect the same for the 'City' name, as it's a perfect descriptor for that model/place in the lineup. Not so sure the Air and the GO names will hold up to the lens of time...but maybe. Of course PRO will be a viable name in the long run. Explore? Not too sure that name should be reborn. Seems kinda generic sounding, like the Air. A rebirth of the Ghost name seems like a good one, even if just for the occasional limited release, as before. I gotta say, I was considering a V4X, as a secondary scoot to my PRO, but, since I don't NEED 2 scoots just now, I guess I'll wait and see what the 2.0 presents. (it'd be great if tire size increased... with the quad suspension, it could be a good call for something with the durability and ride quality for rougher trail riding... since you have no plans as yet for a rugged off-roader.) I've always thought "The Wraith" would be a good name for a Ghost type of scoot. Fits right in with the Phantom, and Ghost names, as far as meanings go.
Omg!!! He said 50 person team...in china?. Wth! I been under the impression they were made in canada. Guess its just designed in canada. I mean, I can get tons of products data designed in other countries. I really thought you were different with your scooters made in Canada by Canadians. I have to really research more now I guess last years were a waste. Im dumb.
Crapy scooter with the worst customer support ever. There scooters always brake and are cheap also there always on sale it’s a fake it’s never off sale. Fugazi company
it’s been how many years now and Apollo has not finished a complete scooter without upgrade B. S. How can you call something a legend that you dumped on and really haven’t finished yet. Really. I can just see it now. Phantom 2.0 v-1-2-3. October 24 means nothing. Won’t be ready for another year plus the winter. Loved my v3 with pmt’s. Not a single problem with regular maintenance and upgrades. Sold it to brother in law. Won’t buy another Apollo. They’re “weird”. Plus 52v is outdated years ago. They are spending your money travelling. the world attempting to finally build THE scooter that should have come out years ago. It’s true. There is a sucker on every corner. Won’t be me. 👍
Yeah, they tried to send my scooter to a guy in ,brooklyn that has a full-time job. The guy himself told me he fixes the scooters on the side as a part-time job. Horrible customer service they went downhill big-time.
My phantom has been a paperweight for most of its existance, and the support has been horrible. It lives in storage now, and I feel like I threw away thousands of dollars. Still waiting for a solution to the horribly unreliable tires.
Big speech... Big words... For Nothing!!! HI PERFORMANCE SCOOTER... DON'T have Apollo!! Pic up your minds and follow the market!!! An less you want to make Apollo a history in 2025... Not a legend!! Hard words to wake you up!! With all my respect!!
Why did you bother releasing the V4 or V4X if you had this Pro-clone waiting in your pockets? I just sold my Phantom and never looked back. You suck, Apollo!
