Thank you for the video, Big Jizzy. You made some very insightful and helpful observations. I've been waiting for some Apollo Pro videos to post, now that they're finally in scooter owners hands. I will be waiting for Apollo to release the the next generation of the City Pro, or the second generation of the Apollo Go, before I feel safe/comfortable enough to purchase my first Apollo scooter.
some new shocks will do that. It sounds like the shock. As the shock gets broke in that noise will likely dissipate. Brand new RZR's used to do the same thing.
Hey man! Great feedback thanks! We will look into making the buttons of the throttle harder to press or make them in rubber! For the front squeaking noise, it is coming from the front suspension assembly. You need to add grease in the pivot point of the suspension arm!
Thanks for watching! So glad that I could help you purchase this phenomenal scooter. Use some Lithium spray lubricant and spritz a little in the crevasses by the fender and drum brake assembly. Once I did that the noise went away. Also if you ride in rain you need to make sure to wipe down the scooter after ..... I've been applying a bit of WD-40 after drying to remove any excess moisture and then I spray lube the front spring bolts.....drum brake assembly and I side the folding mech as well. You don't want parts to get super dry or rust. I'm not exactly sure exactly where.the noise is coming from but lubing that front area a bit should remedy the issue. I'm gonna do a follow up review soon please stay tuned.
I’ve had the pro now for a bit and that is a spot on review nice job! I have the same exact creaking noise which is annoying! Please let me know if you find a fix for that. How did you get tracking to work??
Thank you! Never trying to diminish anyone or companies shine just giving you my perspective. I used some WD-40 and lithium grease. STILL creaks a bit but I feel like it will go away soon. What tracking are you referring to? Thanks again for watching.
I took mine to a repair shop. They onced it over for free but couldn’t find the issue. They told me for $5000 I should demand a new scooter. After watching this I guess it’s not just mine that does that. Apollo let me down on this one. I was a huge fan of Apollo till now
Thanks for the feedback.... My Regen is set to MAX and does not have emergency stopping power. Im around 250...you may be lighter ...City scooter is definitely lighter.
Getting my tax return and looking at the Pro. I have a Phantom 60v and got screwed over by Apollo who had promised an upgrade to a Pro, but then gave some stupid excuse saying that they couldn’t cool the controller enough on the 60v and there would not be an upgrade. When they release the upgrades from the phantom one to the phantom two, the Phantom two was being touted as the future scooter because of how upgradable it was. I really hate Apollo as a company, but I love their products! That’s why I’m looking at the pro, and I’ll sell the phantom. Phantom is a great ride, I imagine all the scooters are rather exhilarating. The creaking that you showed in the front is very concerning to me. When I first got my phantom, the fenders knocked into the calipers and it was unbearable even going over small bumps, so I removed the rear fender and found some other way to keep the spray from decorating my backside, I wonder if some spray white grease might leave that creaking and a little shot of WD-40 on the kickstand that’s also point of contention, I think I’d be tempted to see if I could upgrade the spring on it or maybe add a magnet or something to kick it up and stay up so it doesn’t knock when I go over bumps That I find frustrating with all of these scooters is that there’s never any way to carry anything if you carry a backpack then you’re only increasing your top heavy weight and stabilizing yourself. You really want the weight to be low. Surprised I haven’t seen scooters with boxes on the back like that three wheel scooter from cool fly. If more scooters had storage of some kind, they could really be used for shopping or a place to put your briefcase when you went to work or a place for a picnic lunch or digital camera ride there’s just so many reasons why you need to carry something with you but these scooters have nothing except maybe a little tiny box that you could put your wallet in. You haven't really set up the e-brakes up properly!!! At 75% they'll throw you off the scooter!!!😂😅. You don't even need the drum breaks. You're just too new to it.😊. Learn, experience it than come back with a new video.Ok???!!! You'll like it even more. 😅
Well for some reason I am not achieving that stopping power. Brakes are set to MAX breaking in the app. I may reset the settings and see if that improves things. Thanks for reaching out
i will second .. not by far but lets say you didnt get any deals and you paid full 5750$ + the 150$ of shipping and the lets be cool 30$ for the quadlock case ! we flirting the 6k ! is it a 6000$ Escooter ? in my opinion no lol ! maybe for 3000$ 3500$
