I'm with you! I'm glad I have my online family to fellowship with, like you, John Kirwin and Paul Stobbs and many many others searching for the truth and finding Jesus. We have been so deceived and studying and fellowshipping with others online has been so edifying. Hearing others testimonies and struggles and miracles has been helpful to many. Ive reached out to a dozen local churches for help. (Im severly disabled and my income ran out) and they all saod no. I even had one pastor hang up on me while i was mid sentence! Makes me sick...

I go to an independent Baptist church but it has been in the same small building since 1952 before that it was started in a little old laundry mat building I can’t imagine going to a 10 million dollar building that is definitely not what the Lord intended the church to be that is just insane wow!
One time I reached out to a local church when I fell into hard times, they have a large building, not anything like this mall. The church required that you at least attend steadily for 6 months in order to receive help, I don't remember if membership was required. I would never recommend this church to anyone
Not even me, theirs so many homeless people around this town that need help, need a push to get on their feet, food, bibles etc. That's what makes me so angry.

My word....smh. Yep we have a new high priest to go into the Holy of holiest for us and he don't demand payment. These ones that do aren't levites which they was supposed to get the tithe because they didn't get an inheritance in Isra'el. A Man should get his living from the gospel but not like this. We all are supposed to do for each other like servants and the one who wants to be the best or however you wanna say it is supposed to be a servant of all. We're to be brothers and sisters to each other. This stuff makes me mad!
My last church had only one service, with only 25-30 people in it, sometimes only 15 or so. The pastor kept on and on about how they needed a new building. Finally he started saying that they hadn’t paid the rent and were getting kicked out at the end of the month. Here’s MY question- If you can’t currently pay the rent, how are you going to pay for a larger facility? Another good question is- If there are too many for capacity in one service at the current building, why aren’t you having multiple services to handle this problem? If a church is so big that 2 or 3 services still can’t handle the need, maybe a new church could be launched
Yeah, that has been that church for well over a decade, for sure. Even before I was born again, that never felt right to me. Imagine how much money they must bring in to maintain that place! That is what ive always wondered about....how do they have the money to maintain that place?! But it is filled to the brim every Sunday....much like Osteen's place is. It boggles my mind when i see how many people are in his audience.
This is just one example. I watched as a hospital was torn down that had been around since I was a child. They rebuilt a brand new one spending millions if not billions to do so. All I could thing was how many could that hospital have housed of homeless or needy could have at least had shelter? I was told it was too much of a liability and the city wasn’t willing to pay electricity and such plus any claims that may have come if injured in the building. Because it’s cheaper to leave them in the streets to die.😢
I think that tithing is us helping each other out not the church getting fat off of our income. WE are the church not a building. I think there are good folks out there ministering but that is very few and far between.
There is no justification for this. Why isnt it buzzing with activity. Where is the Christian schools and daycare and feeding folks....giving a warm safe place to get out of the weather and have a safe place to sleep. Great idea but no follow through. Makes my heart hurt.
That building will be full eventually with people that are left homeless after the Rapture after all the devastation they'll have to take it over to have shelter if its still standing 🎉
This is very disturbing and just defames the name of Yehuah...They are to help the poor and suffering, the less fortunate but most are unwilling..I know from experience how they despise those who do not have ....
