Right before Jesus's death, the bible says that he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. the bible says "Father if it be thine will, let this cup pass from me. nevertheless not my will be done, but thy will" My question is this (and once again not trying to be defensive I just HUMBLY want your explanation). Jesus was God's SON in flesh. 1 John 4:14 says that *"The Father SENT His son."* God does not have flesh. Jesus told us that *God is SPIRIT.*

You can push the Mark 12 text further. what did the scribe mean when he said "one God?" that God is numerically one. Then in the next verse, Jesus doesn't correct him on his understanding of God. Jesus affirms his understanding by saying to the scribe "...thou art not far from the kingdom of God..." so Jesus agrees with the scribes understanding of God! Good video, keep it up!

EPHESIANS 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. That is what it is all about. It is only one Lord. There are not two gods. There are not three gods, or more gods than that. There is not more than one faith. There is only one faith. There may be many faiths that exist today, but God said, "One Lord, one faith, one baptism." What faith do we find in the Holy Scriptures? "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine ..." [Acts 2:42] That is the faith that they continued stedfastly in -- the Apostles' doctrine. Let God be true, but every man a liar. Today, some may kick and some may holler. They do not want to hear it. "For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?" [Romans 3:3] Why is it that people cannot understand the baptism? The Bible says that it is one baptism. Some are baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost--and there is no Bible for that. They like to read Matthew --28:19--, not understanding the significance of the Scripture. The Bible says, "in the name" -- not "in the names" --in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, in the name of the Holy Ghost. That is what Peter and the rest of the apostles did on the day of Pentecost. They gave the name. "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ ..." [Acts 2:38] They gave the name of the baptism: One Lord, one faith, one baptism. We must obey every word of the Lord. They say today they are worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth. [John 14:15] They are not keeping the commandments of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. But, they say many, many things, that are contrary to the words of Jesus Christ. You hear them today say that if you would just confess Christ with your mouth and believe in your heart, you shall be saved. But, what did Jesus say? He said, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be damned." [Mark 16:16] Therefore, if you do not get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, you are going to be damned. You do not have to worry about it. Every eye is going to see the Lord. Today, some people say that God has already come. They say that He has come and gone. The Bible says, "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, ..." [Revelation 1:7] When God comes, everybody is going to see the Lord. What we are telling you today is Bible-right, and it is Bible-sound. It is sound doctrine that cannot be condemned. We can condemn every one else that preaches contrary to the word of God, but, they cannot condemn what we say, because we are preaching the Apostles' doctrine. This is the one faith that God, Himself, taught His apostles. Once again, Ephesians 4:5 states: "One Lord, one faith, one baptism." What does the sixth verse say? "One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." How many gods? One God! "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." [Romans 15:4] This was written so that we would know how many gods there are. ONE GOD! How many lords are there? ONE LORD! How many faiths? ONE FAITH! Some might say, "Well, I belong to the Baptist church, or Lutheran church, or Methodist church, or Episcopal church, or any variation of churches out there." Well, indeed, you may belong to that. But, what does the Scripture say? ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM. Look in your Bible and see where anyone ever continued stedfastly in the Baptist faith; in the Lutheran faith; in the Episcopal faith; in the Methodist faith, in any other faith other than they continued stedfastly in the Apostles' doctrine. What is our point today? The point is that you always must let God be true, but every man a liar. Today, so many people want to believe so many things. They say that they are worshipping the Lord in Spirit and in truth. That is what they say, but, they do not mean that. They do not mean that at all. How can they believe what Jesus wants if they are going to fight against it. Why? Because, His words are true. One Lord. How many faiths? One Faith. How many baptisms? One Baptism. There is only one baptism and that baptism is the baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Everyone's words will not work--only God's words will work. God is the only One that created heaven and earth. He is the only true God. Today, many people try to worship the Lord the way they think they should. What do they do? They add a little bit here and a little bit there; and a little more here and a little more there. The next thing you know, it is different. It is not the same. It is like anything you do. When you start cooking, you might have a recipe that works for you; then someone adds a little of this and a little of that--and if they add too much, the next thing you know, you will not recognize the dish. You may have even created the dish. But, the dish has been so badly tampered with, you would not recognize it. "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." [Proverbs 14:12; 16:25] If you want to know what is right, you had better believe what the Bible says. Anything contrary to what the Bible says is damnable doctrine. When you start dealing with damnable doctrine, you cannot worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. If you know that, for example, there are six people outside waiting to talk to you. Someone asks you, "How many people are out there to speak with you?" In your heart, you know that there are six, but you reply, "Well, there are seven, or two." Then, you have not told the truth. You did something that was not in accordance with the word of God. You told what is called, a "lie." This is what the religious world has done to Jesus Christ. They have told lies on God Almighty, Himself. The Scripture tells us how to be baptized. If you believe in being baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, how is it that you can find no reference for that? The Word of God--the Scripture cannot be broken. One Scripture cannot condemn another. If you read one Scripture and you read another Scripture, and your interpretation of those two Scriptures is a contradiction--you do not have the right interpretation of those Scriptures. God is a God that cannot lie. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but His word shall never pass away. If you read about water baptism "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" in Matthew 28:19 and then you go to Acts 2:38, and you read "water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ"--if you cannot ascertain that the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ, you have the wrong interpretation of the Holy Scriptures. This is what it is all about. Constantly changing the words of Jesus Christ; trying to make a way for man to do what he wants to do. What have they done? When you add a little here and a little there, that is not the commandment of Jesus Christ. That is the commandment of men; and by the commandment of men, they have made God's words of none effect. Jesus told His disciples how they should baptize. This is why they obeyed Him. The disciples that God Himself came and taught, they went out teaching and preaching the name of Jesus Christ--water baptism in His name. Do you think that God came back from the grave and opened His apostles' understanding, and they did not understand? [See Luke 24:44-53] Jesus let them know that He was the Father. He let them know that He was the Son. He let them know that He was the Holy Ghost. When you let God be true, every man has to be a liar. What does man do today? They have thoughts of trying to do many things. "Well, we can sprinkle. The women don't have to wear hats." The Bible says, "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: ..." [I Corinthians 11:5] At any time, it may be necessary for a woman to pray. This is why our women keep their heads covered. This is not a trick Bible that some churches do not know about. This is the same exact Bible that all the other hypocrites and false prophets use. It is in there! If you want to know, seek, ye shall find. The words of God were written for our learning aforetime so that we would not have any excuse. What does man do? He will make a way to do what he wants to do. They will say: "We will call this the Baptist church." They will believe a little something else and say: "Let us call this the Pentecostal." Someone else will believe something else and say: "We will call this the Lutheran." But these churches are not in accordance with the words of Jesus Christ. They have made their own commandments by their own ways and their own thoughts. What did Jesus say? Jesus' ways are not our ways; neither are His thoughts, our thoughts. How do we know? We will let God be true, but every man a liar.

Believers are also "one" with God. That doesn't mean I am God but I am one with Father and Son. ??????? John 17:20 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me."

one thing I found interesting about so called apostolics is that a very well known scholar and a true converter unto Jesus Christ..is that he preach many sermons about the division of the church and how the flock of Christ would be seperate because of false teachings..but the main thing I found really interesting is that how you claim apostolic but not take heed to what (Apostle) Paul is saying..I was in ministry for a while now and I never seen a group of people other than the apostolic claim a denomination so highly yet not follow their own teachings which should be based on the New Testament...but founded on the Old..King James version was the closets and oldest written interpretation that fully give a description of who God is Himself in text and even the factor of sending His only begotten Son ..Jesus (St John 3:16) -New Testament..but I'll leave that to pondered on..I would never devote myself to the teachings of apostolics unless they are teaching Christ..meaning teaching in Spirit and in Truth

One Lord is God and there are people's in the Bible that are refer to as Lord's and there is no oneness of God just one God that's all.

after I was baptized and went down in Jesus name the Lord showed me that he told the apostles to baptize in the NAME of the Father Son and Holy Ghost much of the church today baptizes in the 3 titles rather than the 1 name but that's what his word teaches us is to baptize in the NAME not names and not titles but the name.

Flat Earth Christian by the great grace of God, at the congregation I am a part of we believe the gospel enough to obey it: We repent and are baptized in water calling on the name of the Lord Jesus only (born of the water) before or after we are gloriously filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking in an unknown tongue!! Hallelujah! That’s being born of the Spirit like John 3:3-5 & Acts 2:38 says is MANDATORY!! We preach that “the name” of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is ONE NAME...JESUS!!!!! Isaiah 9:6, Zechariah 12:10, Zechariah 14:9, John 1:14, John 14:6-7, Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, Timothy 3:16, Colossians 2:9, etc, etc

Hi Phoenix. Yes, the oneness of God is a great truth. We Trinitarians believe that God is one too but distinguish between the being of God as one (his essence) and the persons (Father, Son and Spirit). I appreciate your enthusiasm and would like to learn more of the oneness view. Believe me, I'm not interested in fighting but hope to see more videos and understand more.

Hebrews 1:1-3 #1 In times past, God spoke to His ppl by the Prophets #2 in the last days spoke unto us by His Son who HE hath appointed heir of ALL things, by whom also he made the worlds.#3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the MAJESTY ON HIGH. The Acts 7:55 but he (Stephen), being full of the Holy Ghost, looked steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of GOD. I can go on and on without adding to and taking away from the word of GOD. absolutely: John 17:24-25 " ...for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; " The whole passage is IN THE PAST. In the passage we can see a WORLD vs. JESUS CONFRONTATION : in this confrontation Jesus succeeded in knowing the Father, whilst the world FAILED instead. But WHY did the world fail ? The easy answer is in the same passage : the Father is "before the foundation of the world". Since the Father is BEFORE, He is antecedent and therefore cannot be known by the world: in other words Father and world did not exist at the same time. This means that Jesus WINS this confrontation: on the contrary He is ABLE to know the Father. Why? Of course because Jesus is OLDER than the world and was thus able to know the Father. This means that no other Being saw God. "No one has ever seen God" (John 1:18). The meaning of all that is extremely important : the almighty GOD ONLY EXISTED IN THAT REMOTE PAST. This is why the Father is NOT AVAILABLE here: the only way to "somehow" see the Father is to SEE JESUS (see the answer to Philip). The almighty God cannot "disappear" though: He dropped his power (this is where they differ) and became like a normal man : Jesus "He who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9). Thus, now Jesus is ALONE and has "all things into his hand" (John 3:35). This is why the Father is here just in the LIMITED FORM of a spirit ("God is a spirit" John 4:24). (When you have someone on the phone, he is in LIMITED FORM in your room, you can talk to, but not touch him).

Apostolics aren't the only denomination that believe in one God. Also, do you not believe that God created himself man and spirit as well as God?

Peter vision has nothing to do with eating unclean animals, if you keep reading you will see what the vision means,because Peter had to see it 3 times before he figured it out when 3 unclean uncommon gentiles came looking for Him, then He went to Cornelius and told him that it was unlawful for Jews to keep company whit a man of another nation but God showed Peter not to call people of a other nation unclean

I know of a couple great oneness scriptures in the new testement 1 Cor 8:6-7 I like vs 7 how it says that there is not in every man that knowledge So many can't see this truth about God! I was one of them for quite a while but I kept praying and seeking for revelation and the eyes of my understanding to be enlightened to GODS Truth not mans. I studied water baptism and the trinity docrrine up and down, its history David Bernards book Oneness & Trinity and ect... I see it ALL Over the Bible now. John 17:3 and John 5:26 as well as 1 Corinthians 8:6 Means that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, making His life as God (divine) yet a separate being that is the same as God yet His life of perfect surrender means only the Father was revealed in His life. Thus God made a way for us to behold the God that no man hath seen. (John 1:18). Jesus is the perfect revelation of the One true God. Remember, we have to be one with God as Jesus is one with Him. We cannot be one being with God, but as Jesus was one with Him in abiding in His will, we can behold Him by His Word which Jesus declares is "spirit" and is "life". We know that God created the heavens and the earth through Christ and also we knoe that it was the Spirit of Christ that spoke through the prophets of old (1 Peter 1:11) and also it was the Spirit of the Lord that created us in Job 33:4. The oneness they shared is also one in Spirit because the life Jesus lived is to do the will of the Father who sent Him. God be with you in this faithful testimony that God has given us of His Son. At 4:15 you post 1 Timothy 2:5 but don't read the whole verse. Why is that? Because you don't believe there is a mediator between God and men. That's why. :) Also you act like people are going around saying there is more than one God. No one is saying there is more than one God. In fact I don't know of any group claiming more than one God. The problem is most don't know who Jesus is. :)

The throne of God '''''ANDDDD'''''' of the Lamb will be in the city The lamb afcourse is Jesus so it says God The Father and The Lamb Jesus have a different throne that can not be if the word Is The Father it clearly shows 2 thrones wich again does not take the oneness of God away because a laptop screen is not at the same position as the accu but still we call it one laptop even although we can talk about the seperate elements its the same with a family you have a Father a Mother and children we call that a family and a family is ONEEE although it exists out of those 3 1 Corinthians 8:6 6 yet for us there is but ONE GOD, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but ONE LORD Jesus Christ (does not say there was when I walked in the flesh so this is talking about His present state )through whom all things came and through whom we live. so here it says its not The Father that created but the Son but the son can not create if He IS The Father and so this shows us The Son was WITH The Father at the creation and created everything that was created John 1 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, WHO CAME FROM THE FATHER , full of grace and truth. how did Jesus COME from The Father if He Is The Father shalom sis and I close with saying you this 2 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

In my spirit I see Jesus now starting to gather all the true believers together away from Trinitarian people around the world now

God is one not three. If there were three Gods then which one would take the throne? There would just be chaos everywhere and there wouldn't be any order in the universe. The reason why some people believe in this is because this is the result of Jesus Christ's original message becoming corrupt overtime. And even if it does talk about the trinity in the Bible, this doesn't matter because there are over 200 different versions of the Bible and it is not in its original form. The final prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was sent to clear up these misconceptions and to re-establish the same pure message that all of the other prophets and messengers in the past have preached before people corrupted it. He was sent with the last revelation until the day of judgement which is the Quran. This book is the criterion over all religion and it is a historical fact that not a single letter has changed ever since revelation. And there is nowhere in here that says God is three. May God guide you all to the straight path :)

Proverbs 30;4 asks of how many persons? Actually the bible says the father is God. Jesus had a God but God has no God. Jesus said eternal life is to know the father the only true God and himself whom he stated the only true God had sent. God cannot be tempted by sin, Jesus was tempted by the evil one and with sin as the bible states Jesus was tempted. God cannot die, Did Jesus really die or just pretend? God was INSIDE Jesus reconciling the world to himself. There is God Father of all living and Jesus Christ the SON of God who is also a person. There is indeed ONE God the Father AND JESUS CHRIST who HE sent. All of this is in the bible clear as day. JESUS IS NOT AN EMPTY FLESH housing God he is a human PERSON HOUSING God(not that God needs housing) . When you receive Jesus you receive both the son AND the father. Check the scriptures for all I have said and be free from denominatiinalism and enter into true freedom. Agree with Jesus and his testimony of God.

Trinity believes the same thing! Although there is a lot of debate with in Trinity they still believe in one God. The only difference seems to be the word person which apostolic Pentecostal use manifestations.
