Brother Bernard is always good at teaching the foundation of the apostles doctrine. He might be the most persuasive Oneness Pentecostal Apologist of our time. I truly think that he should have participated in more debates. Jesus said in John 17:11, "Holy Father, keep them through Your Name, the Name which YOU HAVE GIVEN ME." The same is true in John 5:43, Philippians 2:9, Heb. 1:4, and in Jeremiah 23:5-6. Since Jesus was given the Name of the Father (Yahweh Saves), Jesus is the Name of the Father and the Son. Furthermore, Jesus as a Son could not have pre-existed as an eternal Son Person without possessing the Name of Yahweh. Yet Jer. 23:5-6 says, "I will raise to David a righteous branch, and a King SHALL REIGN ... And this is His Name whereby HE SHALL BE CALLED, YAHWEH our righteousness." Notice that the Name of the Son would be called "Yahweh" in the prophetic future. Could an alleged coequal and coeternal God the Son have not possessed the Name of Yahweh before the incarnation? The answer is an emphatic NO. John 14:23 proves that the only true God the Father entered into a new existence by becoming a fully human son. Heb. 2:14, 17 says that the "He" who "partook of flesh and blood" "shared in our humanity (NIV)" in being "made exactly like his brethren" as a fully complete human being with a human spirit. Hence, the human spirit of Jesus went down into Hades for three days and three nights while his lifeless body of flesh lay outside Jerusalem in the tomb. The human spirit of Christ preached to those imprisoned in Hades and "took the keys of death and hell (Rev. 1:7-8)." Then he resurrected his own body, appeared to his disciples, and "ascended far above all the heavens that he MIGHT FILL ALL THINGS (Ephes. 4:10)." The Holy Spirit of the Father already filled all things but God's new existence as a human spirit did not fill all things until he ascended into heaven to become "a life giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45)" which was later poured out on the day of Pentecost. Gal. 4:6 says that God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts crying, Abba Father, thus proving that God's Holy Spirit who incarnated Himself as a man through the virgin (Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:35) entered into a new existence as a human spirit. God took the priestly qualities of Christ's human spirit and incorporated it into His own omnipresent Spirit. This explains why Romans 8;26-27 says that "the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings too deep for words." Then Paul identified the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Jesus in Romans 8:34 as the one who is making "intercession for us." 1 Tim. 2:5 proves that there is only One true God the Father and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. So we have One omnipresent Father who also became a man to save us via incarnation through His own Holy Spirit. Heb. 1:3 states that Jesus is "the radiance of His glory (the Father's) and the exact reproduction (Greek "CHARAKTER") as an imprinted copy of the Father's (HYPOSTASIS) substance of Being" as a fully complete human being. This explains why there is One God Person and one human person who is the Father incarnate as a true man. Jesus had to say, "We" because he is not God merely indwelling a physical body of flesh. He is God with us as a fully complete human being with a fully complete but sinless human nature. We have to admit that 1 John 5:7 is a corrupted and interpolated text in the KJV. There is no need to expound a corrupt text because the passage is not an inspired portion of scripture. Acts 2 still followed the rules of order concerning tongues and interpretation. The people outside of the congregation provided the interpretations of all the tongues spoken in the congregation, to the glory of God!

Paul lays out those rules and they don't include speaking jibbrish instead of an actual language, and it's not to be done in the congregation without interruption. You can speak in tongues in private to yourself all you want, no interpretation required. Nowadays you'd be hard pressed to find a church that follows the rules that Paul laid out for the church to follow after Acts 2. I'm not against speaking in tongues, I'm against the three-ring circus some pastors have turned it into.
My question is: Jesus said that the Son of man has no place to lay his head ( sounds like HE was homeless) I’m now homeless ( again) before Salvation I was homeless because of lifestyle but I’ve been living Saved 30+. Years but was afflicted Psalms 119:68-69? Because of my Sin. Seems to me that pastor Bernard is trying to say that in John 14:20 Jesus is explaining his mediator role, since they go into a discussion about obedience of his commandments, that's referring to the law, and Jesus is between us and the Father as our Mediator of a new and better covenant - more "law" talk. I'm kinda familiar with that since I'm often accused of being "legalistic."😏

So through the flesh Jesus is doing the will of Eternal life which is in the Father. This is what John 1 speaks about. There is a humanity to Jesus which you see when He is praying to the Father. I have a question for the apostolic churches. I want this question is to not only this church but to all churches who are unrelated to the appostolic religion. According to some pastors who preached the word of God who used the Bible to prove their point It is unbevocal according to the Bible. Where does it say in the Bible that televisions are evil? The reason I'm asking you this is because of the fact that I've got this pastor that I've been talking to and his name is mister mfor he belongs to the apostolic lighthouse church in Portales New Mexico and he has never gave me a straight answer. If God created man and everything that God creates is gand if that's thecause God created man than anything that man creates also must be good. So if that's the case how can a television set that has no AI ( Artificial intelligence ) Or a soul Doesn't have the ability to force you watch it or can turn itself on, be evil? And if that is the case then anything that has a screen of any kind of any nature clean a telephone a cell phone a computer tablet or a tablet must also be evil because it has a screen which views on a screen Program that the apostolic church says must be evil. So if that is the case how do you get an inadequate object Which you have control over with a remote control to either turn it on or turn it off have the power or the ability to be evil or good? Pastor Moore has never answered this question and it bothers me that he uses his opinion as a godly way to go around the question without answering it Bibically in the Bible.
It does not state anywhere in the Bible that particular things such as televisions are a sin and evil. Especially today when everybody has a television inside of their pocket called the cell phone. I was saved in 2003 in between the crossing over between Technologies and it was most definitely looked at bad if you had a television. Some of it became legalistic but most of it was for the safety of our souls because the things that are played on television of course. But today we live in an age where you have a television in your pocket and it can play unlimited amounts of sin. So today's preachers are becoming more of a mouthpiece to speak by principal and allow the Holy Ghost to govern the individual and it is up to the individual to submit to the Holy Ghost unction to become more sanctified out of consecration rather than obedience to a church rule.

As a child I believed that the Bible was the word of God and that Jesus was my savior .In 1988 I had a wonderful girlfriend , we raced motorcycles , we went to bluegrass festivals and did whatever we wanted to do . I realized that I had everything the world said was happiness but I felt something important was missing and I didn't know what it was. I tried scientology , all kinds of yoga, martial arts and various other disciplines but nothing satisfied me . One Sunday morning I came home drunk in a taxicab and waiting outside of my house was a man who was giving my roommate a ride to church. I had gone to alcoholics anonymous for six months and they helped me a lot but I had gone back to drinking .He invited me to sit in his car and talk. He asked me if I wanted a bible study. I said I would love to have a bible study . He came on Monday nights the only night of the week that I didn't drink. It was a 12 week bible study that went from Genesis to Revelation. He showed me in the book of Acts ( Acts 2:38 ) where it said repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost . I said I'd never seen that in the bible and I wanted to get baptized in Jesus' name and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. I got baptized in Jesus' name and prayed for two months to get the Holy Ghost. The night that I got the Holy Ghost I was praying and I started to talk in tongues , I felt wonderful and GOD delivered me from the spirit of alcohol . I have never wanted to drink since then and I praise GOD for that. . The man who gave me the twelve week bible study taught me a ' GODHEAD ' bible study twice but i didn't understand the oneness of God or the trinity . I was reading the bible one day and read Ephesians 4 : 5-6 that i had previously highlighted in my bible . God gave me the revelation of oneness . ' ONE LORD , ONE FAITH , ONE BAPTISM , ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL , WHO IS ABOVE ALL , AND THROUGH ALL ,AND IN YOU ALL ! Yes. JESUS was the WORD of GOD (SPIRIT) That was manifested in the flesh (SON) When JESUS said this HE was speaking as the flesh created from the foundations of the earth to be a sacrifice for the sins of man. Not as GOD. Which HE was both for the whole GODHEAD was in JESUS.

I disagree with his answer on the first question. We were dead in trespasses and in sins. Alive physically, but our souls were dead. Our spirit was dead. Jesus breathed into them just like God breathed into Adam and they were made alive. At this point, they are born again of the Spirit. This is a huge issue with oneness Pentecostalism. Being born again and being baptized in the Holy Ghost are two different experiences.

If they are 3 persons why does Jesus repeated what God said in Exodus 3:14 ‘I am who I am.’ Why does Jesus repeat the I AM in John 8:24 and John 8:58?
