I enjoyed learning about Apoxie Sculpt when you first showed it. I have not yet made the items I want to make using it, but am revisiting this video tonight while I relax. Thanks for all these great videos to learn and be inspired. ❤

This is so cool! I can hardly wait to get my clay. It's supposed to come in the mail tomorrow! I have a bunch of Perfect Pearls powders. They are nice but a little low key. I'm looking for some bright mica powders as well.

Good session as always. The Teflon sheets you have are definitely worth the investment. Sometimes I use a small soft paint brush to apply additional layers of Perfect Pearls after using the impression sheet; for me I feel I have better control. I also embellish some of my pieces with small beads, rhinestones and flat backed pearls; it all depends on the impression.

Very good suggestions, Pamela. Normally I would embellish too, but just wanted to cover how to do the texturizing this time. You know me, I embellish everything! The brush is a good idea too, but often use my hands as tools.

Such a great idea! I work with silver and copper clay, but this is such a more economical idea-especially since I’m not a pro by any means-and looks just as beautiful with endless possibilities! Thanks for another great video and inspiration, something I need desperately! Lol

I feel the same way. No expensive equipment needed, either and you can make the clay look however you want. it's such a chameleon!!

It really couldn't hurt. I'd do a matte sealant OR if I wanted shiny, very thin coat of UV resin applied carefully w a sponge brush. Thanks for watching!

Will the color stay on it if done after the clay gardens?

oh yes it will. Especially if you used Perfect Pearls, it just bonds to the stuff. You can always seal it with a thin spritz of Krylon matte crystal lacquer from the hardware store, too.
