These are local notifications not push notifications at 5:55 - you can only schedule 60, so at say 50 or so you send a notification to make the user open the app so a fresh batch of 60 can be scheduled :) I found out the same thing when building for one of their competitors, eventually the notifications will stop sending If you don't open the app as the 60 limit will have been reached.
That's what I think, too. Also if would make sense for them to use local notifications as you don't have to worry about infrastructure to send out push notifications to all users.
Thank you Steve, my app has a problem that 11% onboard conversion rate for yearly free trial, but then only 6% trial to paid conversion. Could you please help me find my app problem? How could I improve the paid conversion rate? You said that normal app paid conversion is like 30%, but I only get 6%.
Did you recognize that the doubled the price when you came back to the app? If I didn't go for the first offer, why should I go for it now when the price is so much higher?
ATT has a lot of rules behind it, been hit with rejections for not having it on the forefront even though previous app uploads had no problems also not having ATT risks store removal.
I don't unserstand how they actually monetize. 1. They send you batch of 60 loca notifications. Before 60 expires, thry get you into the app and show you a paywall? Is that it? How do they make 100K a month?
I mean to be fair, to be original and create your own vision and concept requires one to be creative, and that's not for everyone. Some people prefer to take the easy road and try to capitalize on others smart and valuable creations.@@AppMasters
