So glad you know how to pronounce Appalachian! Jim and I are staying the Switzerland Inn off the Parkway right now for a little motorcycle trip, about an hour from Boone. I went to App State for two different summer programs-what a great campus!

Chuck, I just saw the story of the passing of Lt Col Bob Watson. He passed after leaving Harpers Ferry. He texted me at 7:21 and wanted to meet down by the water in Old Town. I didn’t see the message till 9:30. I missed meeting a great man. Be safe.

Hi Bandit and Bluegrass too! My hubby and I have watched every video since you began. We've sorta bonded with you two in a strange new way. I've worried about your leg now for 3 months, but it looks like you're moving really well now. I wanted to send you our deepest sympathy for the passing of your dear brother..that's a hard loss to bear. I've noticed today for the first time that your ads may stir up some folks. Pretty trail today with lots of lush green foliage. Mountain Laurel is the PA state flower. I was born & raised in PA, Pittsburgh area, now living in Wisconsin. The state flower here is beer. Haha. Wisconsin is the drunkest state in the Union, so I hear. But friendly folks. You & Bluegrass are doing great!
Congrats on one more state under your belt!!! And yep here in NH we say AppalAcian trail with the long A sound. 😂 You know the saying “You say potAto, i say potato”! 😂😂
