Thru-huking is where you spend a small fortune to live like you’re homeless!!! Really glad you’re getting some trail magic !! You deserve some creature comforts for the final push!!
Bandit thanks for sharing your thru hike, I have been following you two from Springer. Im curious now after all the miles, how has the zpack tent and backpack held up? Any repairs? Any failures? Any regrets? I am gearing up for a 2028 thru hike and am considering those two gear choices. You guys are nearing the finish! Godspeed!
I plan on doing some gear reviews when I’m finished. I’ll talk about repairs and recommendations, but I will say that I’m happy with both. Stay tuned. I will go in more detail later.
Enjoying your trek, thanks for taking others along with you! When you get to Katahdin, hold out for a nice day if you can the views will be worth it. Thanks again
Yes, Rocky and Bullwinkle, the adventures of moose and squirrel (in Natasha's voice). That was a challenging day, elevation, wind, flooded trail. You guys are doing great!
@@ChuckHowell-Outdoors look forward to seeing you. I expect that since your posts are about a week behind where you are, you will finish up posting sitting on the back porch See you then.
What do you mean you have fantastic views of the clouds of the top of the mountain you're walking on other than that even though you can't see deadly squad out there you got fantastic view of what no one knows😅😂 hahaha
I remember when we went all the way to Mt. Rainier (2 hours from home) and then hiked the skyline trail and could not even see the mountain top because of the fog. Really frustrating. You had a big hike today! Good job!!!
Hey Bandit! I wanted to comment again to tell how very much I enjoy and look forward to all of your beautifully done videos and for showing us all the cool stuff you are experiencing. Nature is so very amazing! Continue to have a blast!! Sue
can't forget Rocky the flying squirrel he goes right along with Bullwinkle I always liked it when Bullwinkle tried to do some magic always seem to backfire on him but keep looking you'll find a Bullwinkle happy Trails and God Bless
I admire your positive attitude about everything. Many of the scenes, I see would not have the same effect on me. You describe everything as gorgeous and beautiful. I sometimes see it differently. An occasional “oh sh_t or this sucks” would be appropriate. Maybe it happens and gets edited out.
Great day hiking in the Maine mountains. Very interesting to watch and you may have set a record for the longest video (over 43 minutes). Keep up the good work.
Yeah. I started to cut it down, but there’s so much to show here that I just put it all in. I felt like people could fast forward through the parts that they don’t want to see
No switchbacks for the weary. That was some brutal climb up Saddleback Mt and strong winds! Hats off to you and Bluegrass! What a great job of climbing and perseverance. Beautiful 360 view atop Saddleback Jr. Glad you got some views after a while. Nice campsite at the end. What a day!!
