There's a place not too far from here called Mineral Wells, Texas that has the same kind of story and history. There was a 18 story Hotel (the Baker Hotel) that is still standing and being renovated that has Doctors offices and treatment rooms in it. When we spent the night there in the late 1990's (a ghost hunting expedition) I observed tables set up for the colonic treatments and sauna contraptions that people would get into that allowed their heads to poke out the top while getting a sauna. There were all kinds of things there that in modern days looked like torture apparatuses. And the crazy thing is, the springs mineral water (called Crazy water) is still being bottled and sold today in grocery chains in north Texas. And you can also take water jugs and fill them up for a small fee. They have Crazy Water in various #'s, depending upon what kind of water you want. The water is extremely alkaline, which would be good for a cancer patient in my opinion, because research shows that cancer cannot thrive in an alkaline setting....so that is something to consider, just sayin'.

Deep water wells where water has sat for a long time without pollution can be drank in extremely good for you. Rain water seeps down into the ground and filtered through rock and dirt. I'm glad that well has many good minerals in it which do help heal the body and provide good health to people. Hopefully people don't take advantage of the honor system and continue to take only what they need. Be sure to save some for the next person. Be kind and love each other. We spend as much time as we can wild camping in Cornwall.. I have never felt at home in the city and it makes me incredibly sad.. If you have kidney, back pain or constipation it could be from drinking too much plain water. Try electrolyte drinks or mineral water. It sounds stupid but your bowel actually needs salt to absorb water. I found this our coz I'm type 2 diabetic and suffered from these pains. I have a couple of 1/2 inch kidney stones in each kidney but I'm pain free now. Funny how the angel told Bill. I believe.

@@TheAppalachianStoryteller right now extremely hot weather is all that is here. 109 degrees here in North Texas today. I noticed that you offered to take some water to the woman in Indiana and I was thinking I could help pay for some gas if you could bring me some water. Love your stories. The crazy water in Mineral Wells is not far from me. I didn’t even know about that until I read the comments section.

It’s well water high in Zinc. That’s it. You folks don’t have to drive for hours, just drink water with a zinc supplement.

You have to go to the well in New Market Tennessee- because the post office won’t ship liquids
