I'm probably off base but I don't understand why Prince Henry deserves any consideration at all. How does anyone reconcile the idea of the Family extending an olive branch to such a hateful person? It would be too soon if I never heard the names of Henry and Rachel spoken again.

I’m an American, but I so miss THE Queen. It’s still brings tears to my eyes when I see things about her. She was such a pretty, lovely woman, who exuded dignity and majesty. And as I understand it, had such a great sense of humor that they could often hear her laughter resounding throughout Buckingham Palace. Love seeing pictures of her laughing! She really modeled commitment, compassion, humility, a great work ethic, duty, faith, and integrity. Truly a rare treasure of a person - especially to be found in leadership. She grew and matured in these qualities as the years went by as most of us hope to. Great Britain was blessed to have had her. And she showed how a true constitutional monarchy can be of great value to its people.

My own mother passed away last year. I still get teary and can’t get used to her not being here. I have an advantage over King Charles. None of my children or grandchildren disrespected my mother. We all grieved together as a family. My Mum will be looking down on us and smiling and sadly it seems that Harry is so clueless that he included in his speech this week, that is in denial about his disrespect towards his grandparents, his father and brother. It’s a shame there’s no one to tell him that he should be apologising and showing remorse. Not making public statements about how his grandmother would be proud of him. Time he shut up and stopped trying to bring his family down to his level. That won’t happen.

I agreed with Richard’s comments about the Invictus series: unfortunately Harry ruined it. I never met the Queen, but as part of the Commonwealth and seeing her on her official duties, she was an inspiration to me, and example that I didn't have to be like my mum, give up a career when I married and had kids, I saw myself as being able to have and do both, and I did, I became a nurse and had a long and satisfying career. In Australia where we live a days drive from relatives, I only saw my grandparents on rare occasions and seeing the Queen on tv, she seemed to be so relatable, like a grandmother to me.... I was so sad to hear of her dying, and that Harry and his wife made her last years so sad, that he broke her heart.... from then on, I really disliked the pair and every foul lie they've uttered since, and Harry's going to have to work a lot harder than open a well child and veterans event, especially when he still mentioned his own 'hardships!!', he wouldn't know the meaning of hardships, even though Diana had tried to inform him, he's forgotten his times with mummy...his history has been rewritten in his mind by the nefarious MM!!

I wasn’t surprised when we learned things were going downhill fast. The amount of respect that I have for HM is immense. She vowed to live her life in service and she did to the very end. I am in floods of tears. I am American but have closely watched the Royals all of my adult life. I miss the late Queen far more than I ever thought I would. I think what makes me the most sad is what she must have went through because of the actions of the one time spares - Andrew and Harry. I think I and a lot of other people would be far more at peace with the Queen and Prince Phillips passing if the dark clouds the one time spares hung over their heads hadn't happened. It is clear that Harry is not and probably never will be sorry for the pain and anguish he and his wife have caused. Queen Elizabeth to me was a pioneer of the modern woman. She was a mechanic in WWII, she was a Princess, a wife, a mother and then The Queen. She had a great and honorable man by her side all of those years who was her strength and stay. She also had a man who helped her to start her reign and show her the ropes. A man who cared deeply for her I think like she was his own daughter. That man was Winston Churchill. She learned very quickly how to reign, be a wife and mother all at the same time. She was beautiful and elegant yet a simple country woman who loved her horses and dogs. So many things wrapped up into one woman and yet she was so majestic and regal and so simple and resilient. From Tartans, hunting and horseback riding to ball gowns, jewelry and Tiaras. She was magnificent and truly an icon who is missed. 💔💔

She is, after all, head and shoulders above the rest in her field! Loved her recounting the sacred historic moment when soft echoes of God save the Queen was heard in their midst. As much as the world loved and admired her - I can not image the grief of those who knew her privately. It must be a very rough day for them.
