If you're using braid and the knot is staying in place but the hook is coming off, it's because your line is going through the crack in the hook eye. You'll need to use a different knot that really holds to the eye of the hook and keeps that from happening
@@Jellus4u you're welcome! I use the improved clinch knot, but I put my line through the eye twice before tying my knot. Has almost completely eliminated that issue using 10 pound power pro. I started doing that about 2 years ago after I had numerous problems losing fish because of my line slipping through the crack.

I've been a VERY avid fisherman for well over 30 years, and a lot of what I've learned is from trial and error and some from bits and pieces of information from other fishermen..it's a lifestyle, a passion I'll never outgrow. If I knew anything at all about editing videos, I'd have one heck of a RU-vid channel 😂 but I don't, so I leave it to the more tech savvy guys 🍻
Hey man it’s never too late to learn, just don’t edit them how I do because it takes forever lmao. My hope was that I’d be able to really express how fishing is and how the process of the trial and error goes, I think for my own sanity I may start doing something simpler. Also if you do try it, CapCut is what I use, the functions are super easy
