Hi Kai, Loved your video, really hit close to home for me 😉. Just wanted to mention that in the setup you're talking about, ChatGPT is only used as a backup, things their own model can't do. Apple has built their own generative models, LLMs and diffusion models that run directly on your devices - iPhones, iPads, Macs - without needing the cloud. That’s a big reason why they can keep it so private. So what you say in the video of apple not having its own model is simply incorrect..., to be honest tho it is not as advanced as Gemini or GPT so in that way they still have catching up to do. So they will probably move away from it as soon as they can. Also, they have a deal with OpenAI where they can't store any data, so that adds another layer of privacy. Of course, you have to take their word for it 😅. But what I think is the best they announced is the new APIs and SDKs they have built for developers and how you can integrate apps into the system itself. And the price definitely made some good gains, so that is very nice to see. Overall nice video man and have a good day.

Great to see a video so quick about the WWDC24! Very well explained. From my perspective, I do agree that Apple is living on "borrowed" land but I also think they can learn a lot of how ChatGPT can integrate with the Apple ecosystem. On the other side, I also believe that Apple will eventually come out with their own software in a few years. At the end, Apple is a company know for its constant innovations and I doubt that they won't try to be the best in the market with the whole AI thing. Also, it's a shame that the Apple Intelligence is coming only on the later models of iPhone. I am running an iPhone 11 so I won't be able to enjoy the phone experience. However, I do rock a great MacBook Air M2 so on that front, I will still be able to enjoy the AI experience. Thanks for this video mate!🙌🏼
Thank you Luka, really appreciate your thoughts and perspective. I agree with you, if they learn from it to develop their own version of it eventually then great, if not, they will the equivalent of an app in the app store paying the 'app tax' not to Apple but OpenAI/Microsoft every year. Let's see, as a user though, I am still excited to try it out since I use both services anyways :) They are up 7% for the day, not too bad :) Will do more news related content see how it's being received.
