Hi Carlos and you are absolutely right, if you buy a good company and hold it long enough, it usually turns out too well, I just lost conviction in it, that's why I call it a loss for me:)
Hey, thank you for the content, where do you track the Total Return for the last 10 years and compare the return of shares with ETFs? I mainly use Lightyear for my investments and they don't have the feature. Do you know any free tools for it?
Hi Sergey, I use Seeking Alpha for that, they offer 5 years for free and I think 10 years is for Premium users, I pay for it myself as I find it worth it. But you could also try TradingView as you can also compare different asset classes there. Made a video about this recently here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DG5UbEfjdNg.html Cheers
It's quite interesting how you're thinking about your investment performance. I love dividend based investing because I can receive profit without need of selling my shares or ETFs. By the way I prefer a lower price increase because I'm still in an early stage and I can buy more. I plan to sell them later or never if the dividends are enough :D
Hi, thanks for sharing and definitely a great way to invest, as I said, it's very individual and has to work for you but looks like you found your path 👏
I think the most important was in this video that these indices show what people thinks about the companies behind them. Maybe Warren Buffett said the market is a voting machine in a short term and a weighting machine on a long term. Do you really think only the technology companies have future?
Hi and absolutely, that's the beauty of ETF investing, you don't have to choose and I think tech will continue to push countries forward, but even if in 20 years it will be a different sector, if you invested in a weighted cross-sector ETF, you will benefit from that too. 50% years ago S&P 500 was arguably no Tech, now it's heavy Tech 👌
Thanks a lot, very happy to hear you enjoy those videos 🙌 Both are great options, I use both. I would give Trading 212 the edge as they charge zero commission and currently pay higher interest on your cash 👌
Hey, great video, but i have question for you! Did you hear about new MiCA regulations and how it will affect Nexo? Im curious about what will happen to USDT specifically becouse im from Europe and also some users on reddit have raised their concerns about it. I wanted to invest some of my money into USDT on Nexo, so i can earn higher interest, but now i don't know if i should. Should i maybe pick other stablecoin? Would USDC be fine? I would be glad if you answered to it in comment or with a new video, since im following you for some time now. Thanks!
Hi and thanks a lot 🙌 Yes, heard about it, as always, EU looking to ban things:) I am personally not too worried, for now it's still possible and even if it's passed and implemented, the exchanges will not change this overnight, instead give you advance notice, then you can swap it to USDC or something else if you wanted to, but outside the EU, it's still the most valuable stablecoin so I feel very comfortable with it and gives you the most use-cases and highest interest rates on Nexo so I am not worried at all 😉 Cheers
Hello Kai, do you know if it is possible to earn interest in Nexo coins on 1 currency and earn interest in the same currency on my other currencies or is the same interest method applied to all currencies?
Investing on historical data is quite driving forward and watching the mirror. However we don't know what the future will bring. Therefore it's rather religion. You're believing in the US market what is totally fine. I think they reached bubble territory and dividend yield isn't so attractive but this is my opinion. I prefer core+satellite style. My core holdings: Euro 30 dividend payer ETF and Emerging Market ETF. My satellite holdings are not so diversified: couple REITs, BDCs, mining and energy sector companies with some other exceptions. I hold local governmental bonds and crypto also however I lost some of the latter one because bad behavior of Celsius and Luna.
Hi and great approach, that's the beauty in investing, there is no right or wrong, many ways to grow your portfolio and if that works for you then that's perfect. Thanks for sharing 👋
Genuinely Thank you for all the amazing videos you make. I hope you keep going strong and hope you stay true to yourself with these genuine videos. I wish you all the best and will keep watching your videos🙏🏾
Wow. That’s just awesome of you to say and really appreciated 🙏 And I will do my very best to bring relevant, interesting and transparent content to you all. Cheers mate 👋
Very nice of you to show the good and the bad. The more I watch you the more honest you seem. If you ever come to Greece or Cyprus I'd like to meet you.
Oh, thanks a lot George, that's great to hear and very kind of you to say and yes, I really want to bring more transparency to this space and in life there are always up and downs, wins and losses and the more we talk about it, the better we can avoid those losses in the future. I'll keep that in mind, maybe a future subscriber meet up in Greece would be awesome one day given that I interestingly enough have quite a lot of my subscribers coming from Greece 🇬🇷🙌 ευχαριστώ 👋
Hi, I would not call it a scam, it's a Japanese multi national investment company and honestly a lot of those do similar practices, may not be nice, but not a scam. Cheers
@@fethryduck You are right, I would have probably had over 1 million if only I didn’t use my hands, oh well, that’s life. Stay positive my friend and happy weekend 👋
@@SmartMoneywithKai Sure over 1 Million. The way you argue is interesting. I am pretty sure you think you are right. Guess you are a German and if anyone in front of you talk this style you think it is normal? Maybe if you talk less with your Arms and work on your Camera Appearance you would have 25000 or 40000 Followers. But the Way you argue show me that you are extremely convinced from yourself and Arguments can't convince you. GL
Hi, sure you could also check pages like justetf. com which is great for ETF's, TradingView for charts and basic insights, Morningstar, Wallmine amongst others. Cheers
Hi Kai, I came across this video from 5 months back - indication your channel is doing well :). However, I have joined Next and was wondering to know if the crypto (specially Ether and Bitcoin) on the platform is real physical asset or it is an ETP? I just discovered that bitcoin on Scalable Capital here in Germany is an ETP. And if not Nexo where to buy physical bitcoin which can be later taken offline and stored in a cold drive? Thanks.
Hi Wahid, thanks a lot and that's awesome to hear 🙌 With Nexo you get 'the real deal' 😉 You will know this if you try to withdraw it to another exchange or your own wallet which you can easily do, and can't on exchanges that you mentioned, that's why I really enjoy Nexo 👌 Cheers
Hi and yes, if you are allowed to depending on your residency, for example EU citizen's cannot buy that directly so we need to buy the UCITS version of VOO registered in Ireland which would be VUSA, very similar though. Cheers
Hi, very strange, just had a look and could not find such a setting, also had a quick google but could not find an answer to that. Maybe best to send a quick message to their support. Cheers
🎉🎉good and nice video keep going i want to ask you something sir if you know how can i reinvest my dividents in traiding republic there is a choise? great video good job 👍👍
Hi and thanks a lot, appreciate that. You can either buy an accumulating ETF so then the ETF itself will automatically reinvest your dividends, or set up a recurring buy on Trade Republic so then it will take any funds you have in your account, including your dividends, to buy more of the stock or ETF you want to buy 👌 Cheers
India investment market is growing because India is developing nation and fast growing. I have invested $10K in USA (Nasdaq) and I have around $30K in Indian Stock market including Nifty 50, Mid and small cap etc.
Hi, good question:) I would maybe omit the middle name in case you have, otherwise just full name and leave the last few letters out. Send like $10 to see if it goes through and if all good you can send a bigger amount after. Cheers
It's a pain in the ass to self custody too. Have to download entire bitcoin transaction history! 😮 Then get account on exchange, KYC. How is that easier than getting an ETF! 😮
Hi and sure, it is an extra step but also extra protection and owning it gives many more benefits, you can borrow against it without selling it and thus not paying taxes on the gains, you can actually transact with it, you can stake or borrow it to earn interest amongst many others. But as I said, for many this might be too complicated so owning it in an ETF can be a good option too 👌
Hi, your funds are still protected in the MMF up to €22K but only against insolvency of Revolut, if the MMF itself goes down, which is highly unlikely, then of course this would not be protected. Cheers
I done underatsn your videos as you posted that you closed your Nexo, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TnSGrtii5rs.htmlsi=LVjOc8b2NJkU-OEc, now you are promoting so what is the truth is this fake, or you are just trying to get people to sign up.
Hi and the million dollar question, short answer...maybe:) It may or may not, but personally I would be surprised to see a 50% drop as there is now so much institutional money flowing into Bitcoin that those dips will be bought up immediately. Look at the daily transactions happening of big investors like Michael Saylor, etc. if they thought there would be a 50% drop coming soon I am sure they would also like to wait, but we just don't know. It might also never go below $50K again instead to $200K and then you might regret you did not buy before. It will certainly continue to see dips, but long-term trajectory should be mostly up. Ultimately your choice, but I will continue to buy 😉 Cheers
Another great video Kai. I like how reasonable and thorough you are. I also learn about online tools by watching the data sites you're using. Thank you for your effort in making great content.
Hi and no, I used to invest in P2P lending in Europe via Bondora, did that for a while, but when the interest I got on my USD was 5.3% secure getting 7% at a high risk just didn't see worth it for me. Now I get 10% interest on my USDT stablecoins and I find that less risky than P2P 😉 Cheers
