You do realise what you said was pretty wrong right? Open AI will make available their model to Apple either by using an API or selling them a pre-trained model file (like a Keras or H5 file), in a similar way to how Microsoft Bing and Microsoft Co-Pilot works, they may add to it with the use of transferred learning, however Open AI is already the leader in large language models and multi-modal AI, with many speculating that AGI will be here within 3-4 yrs time. Not even Google is currently on par with Open AI and all other AI LLMs are failing to met the benchmark set by Open AI Dont get me wrong I'm indifferent to OpenAI or any other firms AI, but the reality we must all face is as it stands there isnt any other AI system that is grabbing the headlines like OpenAI

@@saltedfish_is_good no, the plan is that the only time it will go to Open AI is if you are asking Siri a question about world knowledge that it can’t answer, and then it will specifically ask you for permission to ask ChatGPT. Everything else is done on Apple’s own models, either on device or on Apple servers.
