If you are a PDF Digital Planner user for some time, you are well aware that the one thing that every digital planner of this type was missing was the ability to schedule events, add tasks, reminders etc. For that purpose you probably had to use an app with those possibilities in addition to your digital planner.
The main advantages of digital planner templates are that they are more versatile than regular planning apps, have many different templates and possibility to use the best feature of your tablet or iPad - writing in your digital planner directly with your pencil, as you would in a paper planner, add various stickers, duplicate pages and so on.

I would love a tutorial on how to set up the integration when building a planner. I build them for family & friends & I know how to insert a hyperlink to many things including external links or slides etc but not to a calendar.

Ah... it took me trial and error many months. Then I came across IOS shortcuts and two facts: that I can pass the input into my own made shortcut and that I can create a link toward shortcut that brings up the Apple Cal. You need very basic programming understanding :)

I’ve watched all of the videos but something isn’t working right in the calendar and I cannot use it. The tutorial showing step by step does not look the same on my page and the links aren’t working right. Can you help?

@@BayouBerthaAnne Are you trying to set up the calendar links or just normal hyperlinks. I can help with hyperlinks, they are very cool, but the Calendar links have got me stumped as well.

This is amazing. I am trying my self too, I have managed to get the planner to open and run the shortcut. And to add an event to apple calendar. I just can’t seem to make the shortcut set a certain date and time that I pick from the planner. Just todays date and I have to change it manually. Very frustrating 😅😅

It is a tricky thing :) I was struggling with setting the different event duration (30 min, hour) and making one shortcut to run several different things (event, preview, agenda...) was tough too. It really took me a while ^^ Cheers, Nash

Or should I just install the planner on my phone as well and then I can just pop it in there instead when I make an appointment when I’m out without my iPad and then if I want to add a reminder I’ll just follow this method??

Can you reverse the process? Say if I go to the dr and make another appointment while I’m there and I only have my phone and I put the appointment in phone, will it transfer to the planner? I find this is my biggest issue is that I put things in my phone but forget to transfer them into my planner and end up missing events or double booking myself!!

I was going to ask the exact same question, now that would be a game changer for me if we could do it in reverse, because I always seem to put things on my Apple calendar first, and then have to add it to my Planner

Hi, check the index page of the planner - there should be a link to the shortcut. If not, are you sure that planner purchased has the Reminders feature? Not all do.
