It has it's downfalls ... but so does other forms of medium ... I guess she put it nicely when saying he has his way of going around those and I guess all artists are truly blessed with this clever way of going around those medium downfalls in order to give us the sense of their work
The iPad rocks I have used one and it is amazing, however many art galleries don’t recognise it as an art medium. So many of my pieces I can’t display in award exhibitions or group shows. Hopefully having a world renowned artist like David will change this.... if I was head of Apple advertising I would have done a whole bunch of adverts using David Hockney and other artist, architects, fashion designers, writers to illustrate the enormous diversity of the iPad Pro
J ai vu cette superbe expo au musee Guggenheim à Bilbao en Espagne, je connaissais l oeuvre de David Hockney depuis toujours et ai été ravie de voir la suite de son immense oeuvre tant en arts plastiques que pour le Théatre... Claude BERAUD BARBET
I saw an exhibit of Hockney's work at The Getty Center in Los Angeles for his 80th Birthday. He's incredibly inspiring. I brought with my iPad and made drawings of his paintings and prints. He makes it look easy, but wow, try to copy a Hockney and you'll see what a master of line and color he is.
