Well, OK, but how about the application support though? Do HD2 and Nexus have enough applications to complete with the iPhone? From what I know Windows Mobile(6.5) is fading away and there aren't many apps being developed for it. And Android is relatively new.
I am a PC user (unfortunatly) and I LOVE Apple products and software. I have an iPod touch and i had iBook. two words: AMAZING QUALITY. I wish i could switch permenantly but i can't.
at&t and apple are working on a new techonology that'll allow the new iphone to have 3d tactile function. It'll be exclusive to apple prodcuts, possibly including the 3d version of the apple ipad and next gen macbook pro's.
You cant really compare the Nexus one with the iPhone, since the Nexus one just came out, so they could add things that the iPhone doesn't has. But in my opinion i think that the iPhone is better.
Awsome video, You didnt just say BUY THIS PHONE! as all the other RU-vid films do :P Not that expensive, VERY fast but android still are missing some features but still, its under development! This is the only mobile that can sell as much as iPhone! :D
I've watched several PhoneArena videos, and MY GOD I HATE most of the guys that you have doing reviews. It's obnoxious to hear those guys just reading off a piece of paper while showing the phone features. This guy is WAY, WAY more tolerable. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, do more reviews either with this guy or in this format. It is worlds better.

yes u can for the iphone, but no on the Nexus One. If u jailbreak iphone u can multitask which w N1 is multitask ready without rooting. i have N1 my sis iphone 3gs both modified at it fullest. N1 is by far way superior.
@AcaseT yep i gotta love the iphone 3gs and 4 no removable battery no surround sound no HDMI port no flash drop calls no micro sd card then the IPHONE 4 is for you ^^
my iphone 3gs dosent get much dust at the back...atleast it does NOT get any fingerprints anywhere...my back of the iphone is white ( bcuz then i only had to wait 3 days instead of 4+ weeks...)
@Darkraizr The 4th Generation iPhone hasn't come out yet. You can't know that it will be any better than the Nexus One. When the 4th Generation iPhone actually exists in the market (the only time Apple will willingly release any information on it), then you can argue about which phone is better. You can't make worth while claims about a "next iPhone," because the next iPhone is as good as nonexistent when no one knows what it will be like except those who are contracted to shut up about it.
There is NOTHING on the market that comes close to the iPhone's interface and the smoothness of it right now. All those 3D gimmicks look tacky, iPhone's interface looks clean, flat and without any extra garbage. And of course the keyboard is MUCH better than what other operating systems offer.
I agree about Apple's annoying need to control everything on your phone. It's either Apple's way or no way. If I can't use a phone, customize and play with it as I want to, they can fuck off, not buying it. Was thinking of getting 3GS but read that new revisions can't be jailbroken, well they can but you will have to jailbreak each time you restart your phone. Not buying.
@seva404 not very good? it's HORRIBLE outside, I use my phone 95% of the time outdoors. So there's no way in hell I would ever get a phone with any sort of OLED screen.
@raybrizs google never meant to make with the n1 a succes in sales, it was made just to show to the producers the maturity of android and how an android phone had to be made. Put a standard, well done. google never meant to be against his allies.

I don't know?? I'm a Mac and an iPhone user (The 3GS is my 3rd, I had a 3G, and an original iPhone... Plus I bought my son a 3G).... But I will be getting an Android device when my contract is over. The iPhone is slow and it's "apps" are 95% shit. Plus the system is becoming so closed, soon Steve Jobs alone will decide what I may or may not use on it... Same way they blew it with the Mac....
@iKid101 Not really. Same crappy processing speed, same terrible camera, same basic boring user interface. A few new apps you couldnt get before and a little bit more customization ability but that's about it. I had a jailbroken 3G.... meh. Did all the tweaks and new apps, but when the OS update came out i updated and didnt bother to jailbreak again.
i had an i phone and it was great. but i just think they're out dated. i mean how long can u keep the same technology out before its out dated? not long. now days software wise the iphone is out dated compared to android 2.0, 2.1 and even in some ways 1.6. i mean if apple comes out with some super awesome new phone then it will prolly be the best for a while soo as of now htc has apple beat
Apple is starting to fall behind, they had a chance to bring them self's back up with there "itablet" but they have lacked so many features. Seems like the only people that will be buying the itablet is the hardcore fan boys and for people where it will actually come into serious use business wise.
@inzMBL I have used an iPhone. I like iPhones, they're pretty cool. But I love android and I personally think Android is better than iOS. But that's my preference :)

@cceessnnaa88 i had win mobile i had a 3GS and i never felt confortable with them, too complicated or too limitated...then android arrived, on my nexus i have upgrades and i can change rom as i want. 250000 or 130000 apps its not a big difference for the user the quality and what u can do with it is the difference...with iphone here u cant make voip calls in 3G...with android u can, just an exemple...

and while i do hate to double post, im afraid that soon to come, the homebrews of android will start to surface,and wipe the floor with anything jailbroken. anybody here even familiar with open source software and its capabilities?! and though nobody wants to say it, ill be the first, JAILBREAKING WOULD NEVER EVEN BE AROUND IF APPLE MADE THEIR PHONE CORRECT TO BEGIN WITH! i mean seriously, how hard is it to let people customize and multi-taks???
why is every fanboy quick to say that a jailbroken iphone is god? dont get me wrong, i own one of those jailbroken phones, but its only because i like freedom, and apple is an ass when it comes to that. but the debate is about "as is" products....off the shelf! why throw in a homebrew that is not even over the counter during purchase. theres a reason every legit review is of an "off the shelf" iphone and not a jailbroken one, and its not because its better than anything out nowadays!
Lol. I have this phone, and the teflon coating on it feels so weird. It just screams cancer at me. lol. It is a nice feature, but at the same time rather useless. Who has a gadget of this caliber and value and does not buy a case to protect it in the 1st place? My Nexus One is in it's case 24/7, so the teflon coating really doesn't have a job to do. = \ (I love the phone though, don't get me wrong, it's awesome)
iPhone is made simple because it's for noobs who needs everything simple. iPhone3Gs is not your friend. A REAL friend (Nexus One) lets you get into all their internal matters, NO SECRETS.
"Apple does not want you to mess with thier device"... well last time i checked it is your device when you splash that awful lot of money on a phone...
Nexus One's sales disagree with you, it did not sell well at all. The phone is ugly, the interface even with all that power is still jerky. With useless gimmicks... like that 3D image gallery and filofax like apps menu. Nothing beats a jailbroken iPhone.
