Great video ! I have the midnight blue case on my space grey iPhone X. Looks amazing (and my favorite color). But I wanted to try the new aubergine one. Because of your video I might get one ! 😅
I went with midnight blue! Me and my brother both liked the look of it so much, we both got it even though we didn’t want to copy each other from the start. I don’t recall seeing the dark aubergine in store but I probably would have gone with that since it’s dark hue of purple still retains masculinity while looking beautiful lying flat on a table. After owning this case for my iPhone 7 and now my iPhone X, I can say it is the best looking and feeling case you can buy for an Apple iPhone that retains full use of the lightning port, home gestures and tactile feel of button presses. Using nothing but leather from now going forward! Save your money and put what you were going to spend on a cheap TPU case into this, I really think it is worth the money!
Midnight Blue arrived a couple of days ago while I wait for my iPhone to come this week. Love the look of the case, feels really well made. The colour is great, not sure how well it will protect drops though. May need to get a screen protector too

Where did you see anywhere in this video or in the title or description where he said it was a review? It clearly says in an in depth look at the COLORS. There are thousands of other videos talking about the fit of this case. This one was about the color choices.
I have the product red leather and I have to say other than the minor scuffs on the corner getting slightly lighter the case is quite beautiful. I however kind of want the saddle brown, cosmos blue and the dark aubergine as well

I’ve got the saddle brown one. It’s the only leather case I’ve seen that ages so well. Most others don’t really change much over time. I’ve had it for about a week and haven’t noticed any color change yet, so I’m assuming it happens very gradually and/or takes months/years

Hey that’s an awesome video. I was really starting to wonder what color to buy. I really like your idea on the dark aubergine but am gonna go with the saddle brown! Also wanted to ask you I had the product red on my 7 Plus but it’s got a bunch of black marks/stains on it. I’ve tried several leather cleaners and conditioners but none have worked. Do you recommend something to maintain the case or remove stains ?
Why does every reviewer say that taupe will pair better with a silver iPhone X? Are they just ignoring the blatantly obvious fact that literally no amount of silver from the phone will be showing once the case is put on?
Gearology okay now that’s more understandable. Even then I feel the benefit of the taupe should be that it’s neutral enough to pair with either finish and look purposeful.
Trevor Coady definitely use the taupe for either colour of phone but from what I have heard the taupe may show dirt a little more then say some of the dark colour options
Me too.. with the x, the black case shows the no bezel look more. To me , color cases on the X, makes the phone have 2 rings around the screen...the black tiny bezel ring and a colored ring around the screen which looks weird to me. Lol.
great video I only have one suggestion don't use such specific analogies like joker and dark knight stay lose like eggplant and ones like that. Thats all Good Job!!!!!
I was going to pick up the black leather case, but now I don’t know! You make them all look/sound awesome. I’ll definitely have to try out the dark purple one in store.

Can you do a video on caring for the cases? Like what kinda of leather cleaner and whatnot to use that won’t change the color. I used some fancy leather conditioner to soften and darken my old saddle brown iPad Smart Cover and it instantly made it look like I had had it for years which I liked. But I want this case to have a more uneven, natural patina.
