Some old people ended up with old iPhone models possibly updating to iOS 17 can greatly help them. Don’t throw old iPhones always give and let others reuse.
This isn't a maintenance mode at all, they can make calls with your number and messages has a new indicator, meaning that they get your messages too. They also get access to your safari history and the websites you're logged into
I work at Best Buy and this actually would be pretty cool to use while I’m handling a customers phone. There’s also plenty of older people who come in looking for a simplified phone and this would be a great option to show them
Granted you won’t be able to test everything it still gives you a good idea of what’s working and what isn’t if a customer is uncomfortable providing you with their password.
if they can make it with a fully dark mode it could be lika a super battery saver if the battery is about to die or something, that would be so beneficial ...
I open my… setting ✅ Tap accessibility✅ Tap assistive access…❌ And then set it up…? I don’t have that on my iPhone. It’s only said assistive touch only.
As a legally blind person, Apple has been rocking it with accessibility recently. Coming from a lifelong Galaxy Note user, I finally switched to IOS and lithely genuinely understand the needs of visually impaired people.
@@KalebPrentice focus mode doesnt block apps, this just gives you the apps that you choose and you cant use any other apps or receive notifications, i use it because i study on my ipad and i sometimes find myself wasting time on social media apps instead of focusing on studying
I have been looking for something like this to have a true "dumb" mode as opposed to a dumb focus, etc. I would definitely love to see something like this for everyone.
If you get it repaired officially you don't need to give password. That goes for iPhones and Samsung devices. Not sure about other manufacturers though.
Just don’t give them the password, hardware repairs don’t require it at all. And if it’s Apple, they won’t snoop because they’ll restore it in front of you if you haven’t done it already LOL
You have no idea how many nudes of customer phones I’ve seen while on the app switcher just deleting open tabs and i ever so slightly glance at the gallery tab, and then having to see them right afterwards
My friend has it set basically as kids mode. He’ll put his phone in that mode to give to his kids and it has games and entertainment, but no personal stuff.
@@hilaryfabian5300there a hundred Android manufacturers out there. Its like in a class every body is good at something. Its impossible to have one to be the Jack of all trade. An Android phone could have 20k mAH and iPhone wont ever compare to that. So idc of Android has that features first or anything
What???? Samsung also knows how to copy better than iphone. Many features existing on new samsung models such as s23 u or s24 u are the feature of old iphones
It feels like the color is off in the video. The security nodes should be red, not a lighter orange. Plus everything just seems like they have brighter colors than usual.
This will make my Grandpa so happy as he has trouble with how many features are available on regular iOS and the text size. This will allow him to hopefully have an easier time getting used to his phone :)
As a former geek squad member I find this to be huge, no more grandparents with dementia trying to memorize app locations, just give em what they need, perfect
This is really cool! It is totally good for non tech people who can barely make a call on their phone. This has other good uses but I really hope they expand on this some. I'm going to use it for a while and enjoy some simplicity.
I've heard too many stories of repair guys stumbling over CP! It probably doesn't happen often at all, but I'd personally prefer to avoid stumbling over that at all costs, even if that makes me a bad person in your opinion
This mainly for the elderly (like my dad) but this is really nice for those that want to drop Social media and to basically turn your phone into a purposeful brick. The only thing that bothers me about this mode is that it should include things like Apple Music, Spotify, etc. music is not a social media or a distraction, it a nothing more than a method of coping or helping to improve your environment.
