5:15 Too many RU-vidrs complaining about pass through - turn on some lights!You had like one light on from another room or area - Apple during their demos showed a room lit brightly with sunlight through the window and overhead lights. I don’t know what it is about these RU-vidrs thinking the dark is best lighting for pass through when it’s not even the main reason for this headset while using apps or other features, if you can see everything to walk around or engage with someone else or a pet in the room the pass through is ok in a darkened room, with better light or even more so, sunlight, then you have the best full experience of pass through. 5:02 “the colors a little bit muted” as he holds backlit screen devices against a very dark background lol then cuts directly after to a brightly lit office space - this lady’s & gentlemen is where he should have tested pass through with that lighting not his dinky lit living room in what looked like nighttime. The pass through works as intended, I mean come on.

I can't wait to try one out. I think I'm most looking forward to the environments and using it more as a VR headset that works flawlessly in the Apple ecosystem. Passthrough seems really cool, but not overly important to me.

5:05 It's a camera physics issue, the small sensor of the passthrough cameras on the AVP require a lot of light. Dealing with camera noise in low light is something photographers and videographers have been dealing with for a very long time. It's the reason why outdoors will yield a good to decent image while indoors with little lighting and plenty of shadows, will yield a pretty bad, noisy passthrough image. You'll have to either turn lights on and make sure there's ample lighting and few to no dark spots or shadows, or just live with the image noise. Not something that Apple can just fix with a software update, they'll actually need to put in better hardware.

I seen people say to just take of the light seal but I tried it and it’s not as comfortable. But maybe a 3rd party will make a really comfortable thinner light seal

Is the front screen that others see adjustable? I mean, I would assume so but every video I see the eyes look like they're behind really dark sunglasses. Can they be adjusted so it looks natural with clear lenses? Turn up the bright, basically? In fact, you should be able to have whatever you want on that screen. Also, it would be better if it had at least a small battery that could keep it on long enough to change batteries. I imagine that they could make a small battery like a bottle cap that attaches to the headset and then the main battery attaches to it.

IMO complaining about day 1 software annoyances like not putting apps in folders or ESPN not having a good experience, etc is a pretty dumb thing to put into the video. The biggest issues with the device are the hazy white effect in dark environments while watching content, the blurriness of the display when looking at peripheral images and seeing how content doesn't remain sharp consistently, and the field of view. The battery life is irrelevant since it's a stationary device and almost entirely used while plugged in, even on a plane. I've worn it since I got it over a week ago hours a day with no issues relating to the weight of it.

What about comfort? Are you experiencing a red bar on your forehead or cheek bones from the solo band after 45 min? This has been my biggest issue so far.

Thanks for the review! I feel the only big negative for me would be the FOV but I'll get use to it. Seems like as VR headsets try to get more clarity they sacrifice FOV but eventually you get use to it.

@@unkown34x33 Idk I went from a Valve Index to a Varjo Aero and the FOV was about 20 degrees difference I feel vertical but the clarity was just soo much more. It was worth the switch. But I feel Vision Pro is smaller than that.
