Ron, I think the more and more I use it, I find good case for the device in terms of productivity use. However, it's still a crazy price for a ridiculous piece of tech. I love it personally. I think if they could shave off about 30% of the weight and increase the quality of the color matching a bit. You would really have something here. After the price was reduced to half. Lot of wishful thinking there.

That’s the video I was waiting for. Being HDR do you think it could do used instead of a Pro Display XDR (a 4K version of it) ? I don’t have an XDR and to edit HDR I am obliged to use my iPad pro but it is a very little screen !

I do not have any doubt on the usability as shown in the video ! But it all comes down to screen quality. I was gathering the money for an XDR when the Vision pro was announced. Now I am waiting patiently for it to be release in France where I live

@eyetronic1 I do use it pretty often. I will say that the vision 2.0 has me excited seeing that Apple is showcasing a larger display for desktop. I use that feature a lot. Price point seems high but it's a lot of tech.

@@bodendorfer I am thinking of using it mainly for photo editing in Lightroom. I currently use the XDR Pro display as my main setup, but for travelling I thought I could use the Vision Pro as a desktop replacement. Probably the new virtual display in VisionOS 2.0 will make a difference here. Would you say that working with Lightroom Classic under VisionOS can be as productive as like working with a normal desktop setup? Of course I would use it in combination with a Macbook and a mouse. How do you rate the color accuracy when editing photos with the Vision Pro? Do you need to reedit the files later on?

@@eyetronic1 My personal opinion is the color is close enough that I continue to use it. However, if I was doing a piece that I was going to enter into a contest or display across my living room, I would probably do the final edit on my desktop. I think as you use the AVP, you can adjust your editing process slightly to get the same output. My primary use is quick edits that I am in a closed off space like a coffee shop, air plane or vehicle.
