He compared it to Meta’s Quest 3, the latest version of the popular standalone VR headset. Funny, after he mentioned what is shooting the video, i quickly realized how bad the resolution was lol. Makes no sense since we have cameras that can shoot in 4k

I think Quest is seen as a more recreational gaming device by many where Apple advertisted Vision pro for everyday use, like have a virtue Mac computer hence why they put so much efforts into being able to read the text on the screen, keeping the windows fixed in place ect..Mac computer owners have already wasted their money on overpriced computer so why not a over priced headset. I just feel these headsets have completely two different types of consumer's.

I’m an Apple fan person. But unfortunately I have to agree with Mark here. His is better. I wouldn’t say way better but yes in functionality is better and convenience is much better

Ngl quest 3 is alot better for its price if meta does make a headset thats 3500 then that will be like almost the same as apples if not better cuz q3 already has hand tracking and really good passthrough but it can run games and i think that vision pro is a developer headset

Lets be honest, is he really going to come out and knock his own product? Lets see if history repeats itself. The critics said the same thing about the “expensive” $400 iphone before its debut in 2007. Now its the best selling smart phone in the world. I just demoed the vision pro and they are definitely worth me considering it despite the hefty price tag.

The quest head sets are designed mainly as a gaming device however the Apple vision pro is designed as a future computer

Yeah, future: Something promised but never delivered. Look at the story of ipad pro, they promised to make it a computer. But even with the m2 chip, they simply don’t want to make the OS as capable as a real computer. Because they are greedy and want make a barrier between the products
