The reason why there is no security tape on the outside is because you can choose which band you want paired with your device when you order directly from Apple. Because of this variety they need to be able to put the boxes together for the different combos.
I think the reason that the packaging is like that is because at the store you can customize the bands with the watch so it allows for easier customization because the band package is easier to swap out
Well yeah. Given there are 16 different watch configurations, and 55 different bands. I worked out that if Apple were to box box the band and watch together they’d need to make over 800 different combinations. Makes complete sense that they make the boxes separate.
Managed to get my hands on a 45mm today. Love the midnight color, the bigger screen/size (I was at 40mm), and the tiny keyboard! Didn’t realize how good the keyboard would actually be
It’s a good overview but none of these things are TRULY hidden features… all of these features are discussed ad nauseam in promo material and basic articles…

Maybe it won’t take that long. Usually doesn’t. I found a Midnight 45 in my local Apple Store last night online and bought it and they haven’t had any.
The faster charging is really remarkable on a small device like this. I had my Series 7 die while I was sleeping last night so when I woke up around 7 am EST, I immediately put it on the puck charger plugged into a 30W brick, and in about an hour it was fully charged. I was very pleasantly surprised it would fully charge that quick.
Got my 45MM starlight watch! Love it so much, the keyboard swipe thing is so cool once you get used to it! I don’t see myself upgrading my watch for at least 2/3 years! I hope I can keep it pristine. The starlight looks and feels so luxurious!
Just went to the Apple store today and picked up a blue one (45mm)! Loving it so far, but it's a LITTLE confusing getting to know how everything works. (new to Apple Watch, and new to IOS in general...was a die hard Android only guy since the original Galaxy Epic until the 13 Pro Max came out)

There’s no plastic because of the customisation options for the watch. The packaging helps when it comes to sliding out the inserts and replacing it with whatever band the customer orders.
Not to sound negative, however you did not expose any "hidden" features here. All you did is show us in real life usage the exact same features that Apple told us about when they announced this watch. I watched your entire video in hopes of seeing these "hidden" features and there were none. I am tempted to throw down a dislike on this video for the misleading title vs content.
I’ve just ordered the 7. Have a 5 & 3 right now. Could the 5 still go on the new charger (albeit slower) or am I going to need to keep both chargers handy. TIA

After all these years of the Apple Watch, why doesn’t the mail messages and iMessages sync up to the iPhone? I have been looking for answers all over. Do you have any insight on how to get this to work?

I use to have a R750 Samsung Gear with Keyboard and Swipe since 2015 no big improvement for me... I think its outdated! Buuuuutttt still have change the 6 44 for the 7 45... to be honest keep asking me why😅
5:24 actually for buyers of the Stainless Steel models, the new charging puck is a downgrade, because stainless steel models used to get a polished stainless steel puck, and now it’s just boring anodised aluminium 😢 (But yes for aluminium Apple Watch models since 2015 (back when it was called an Apple Watch Sport), it has been a plastic puck)
I’m still using my series 1 watch. It had a small crack on the corner of the screen and the aluminium is all scraped however it still works. The biggest issue is software, it’s not supported and it’s soo slow but still good for fitness tracking and notifications. Upgrading soon!!
fun fact: The little connector inside the watch is actually for software installing. When a watch needs a software reset, you can't put it into recovery mode, so you take it to the Genius Bar, which in turn they will 100% send it out to the offsite facility, where they connect your watch to their systems and get the job done. That's free obv.
You can easily reseal the box too but you can also easily add plastic Edit wdym there is a charger that comes in the box? Just not the box that plugs into the wall.
Not including a charging block is another cash grab from Apple and disappointing...especially since I would say the majority of strict apple users don't have one at all. If it were the same as the previous watches, then no issues. But seriously, no block? Since the 7 only charges at 33% faster, they cannot use the excuse that USB-C was needed since the iPhone 12 & 13 both have lightning ports and fast charging capability. Honestly, that's just sheer greed right there.
