I wanted to buy the series 8 for my birthday which is coming in a few weeks but everywhere I look I can’t find them only renewed or refurbished now I think I’m going to have to buy the series 9 because the SE 2 I don’t like it’s features
Apple doesn‘t produce the series 8 anymore but in my opinion refurbished is as good as buying it new and you can save some money. But happy birthday whenever it is🎉
Exactly the same for me. I bought the SE in 2021 and was happy with it. Especially the weather app, phone app, alarm and the ability to pay with the watch. That feature is very very handy. However the battery was down to 84% and when I saw there was a sale on the 8 Friday, I bought one. Now I don't have to worry about the battery life, and it's a nice upgrade with a (slightly) bigger screen than the original SE.
@@mikaelbiilmann6826 I had upgraded to the series 8 45 mm with lte. I got it through my provider for my cell phone I find a lot of benefits it’s been helpful way better then then Fitbit Glad to hear you enjoy your Apple Watch
I grew the series 8 packs a lot of features. Plus it is bang for the buck just as good as the series 9 I liked my se first generation but the battery gave me issues. Or I’d be yet using it but enjoy your watch
I have a 1st gen SE right now, but I also have some problems with the battery plus I can’t update it anymore, you need a 2nd gen SE for that, so I’m thinking about buying a series 8 instead. It’s cheaper than series 9 and what might be series 10 or X soon, and it seems to be good enough to use for several years to come 😊
Still couldn't get call notifications from whatsapp or messenger. I don't mean to answer from the watch, just wanna get notified if there's a call from messenger or whatsapp. Don't know if it's Apple's or the third party apps 😅
"Tap My Watch, then tap Notifications. Tap the app (for example, Messages), tap Custom, then choose an option. Options may include: Allow Notifications: The app displays notifications in Notification Center."
It sort of does, because you can turn on through accessibility, but it’s not as seamless as the other ones which you don’t have to go through accessibility for I think for this one you have to turn on like AssistiveTouch or something like that
yeah, but I agree with the sponsor. Great watch, love mine. Come to think of it I suspect most watch reviewers are sponsors . The only one I trust is "The Qualified Scientist".
