I thought the same thing. They need a in between the 41 and 45. Women have a hard time choosing a size. I feel the 41 is too small but the 45 is too big
Thank you so much! This was extremely helpful. I just ordered the 41mm from Verizon with 2 day shipping only to be informed AFTER completing my purchase that my selection is backordered and won’t even ship for at least 3-4 weeks. I was considering changing my order to a 45mm instead (in case if it might be in stock), because 41mm to 45mm size didn’t seem like that big of a difference to me in theory. Howrver, after seeing them worn & side by side in your video, I realized the size difference is much more significant than I had thought, and the 45mm would definitely be WAY too big for my relatively small wrists/hands. Now, that I know the 41mm is undoubtably the right choice for me, I can gladly/patiently wait those extra backorder weeks without regrets or any second guessing.
I just upgraded from having an Apple Watch Series 7 to an Apple Watch series 9. I really do love how fast the series 9 charges. I’m still learning some of the new features that weren’t on the series 7 watch.
I usually go for screen size, but am wanting a watch to track health data including while I sleep so I think 41mm will be the right choice since functionality is identical
Im enjoying the watch 9, 41mm, i have a thin wrist, this is my first apple watch, and my first iphone since the iphone 4, yes, 4. Which is a 12, both work flawless together.
I have very small wrist but I like big watches face, even for dress watch. Like the contrast and the comfort of reading off bigger screen. Hence definitely 45mm for me ! but I agree that big face make it looks more like a gadget than watch on wrist. Thanks for the detailed comparison.
What do you think of these cases/protective glasses for the Watch? Ive tried both but i feel that both options reduce the touch sensitivity in a big way and the display does not look as good, almost as the colours gets a bit washed out. Have i just made a mistake with buying cheaper cases/glasses? Any tips?
@damtammy I recently purchased Series 9 41mm. I think it’s best to use it from day to day wearable. I like how it’s very responsive when using the double tap.
Fabulous explanations! So clear and precise, gets right to the point! He’s very efficient and knowledgeable and really gets the message across so that the viewer understands and is able to clearly compare both watches. I will definitely subscribe to this channel. He is excellent!!
@jay4thyy Speaking as someone with a few watches which are small, I prefer the 41mm Apple Watch but I do understand that comparing classical watches to smart watches is basically comparing apples to oranges. Another helpful video for potential Apple Watch buyers.
@tobicelebrity My favourite features of the iphone 15 pro are the longevity, the USB-C port and the curved edges. The blue is a plus because blue is my favourite colour. In terms of the watch the 41mm seem like the best fit for me and my small wrist and I would imagine that the 2000nits would be very beneficial in bright and dark settings.
Since I an so fortunate to have tiny wrists I think the 41 mm apple watch series 9 is the best choice of fit but for battery life and bigger display then the 45 mm is the go to option but it shall cover my entire wrist.
Thanks, Dion. This is a really useful video and not only have i hit Like but your very helpful Apple Watch video series fully justifies a Subscribe too. Very thorough and informative!
My husband always goes dark colours for his phone and watch and I chose either pink, rose gold or gold so the lighter metallic colours. We both currently use a s5 40mm and looking to upgrade. I will be getting a 41mm size because I find the comfort, look and feel of my current watch is perfect. Although I keep looking at these videos 🤔
I know you said there doesn't appear to be a difference in weight, but the 45 is still 26% heavier. I don't really understand how that could be insignificant in practice.
@jemwell My favorite feature of the new Apple watch is the new 2000 nits for the Series 9 while 3000 nits for the Ultra 2. I chose this because I find that the brightness can really help in terms of readability of the screen both in direct sunlight or dark situations. I find it extraordinary that Apple was also able to maintain the battery life on top of this. 😊
Owing to its diverse range of applications, AI is becoming a key technology in many fields, including healthcare, finance, education, and robotics. @elroyashwin My fav new feature must be the fingertap. I think it really comes in handy in situations where u can’t focus on the screen at that time. My fav feature of the new iphone 15 must be the action button since u can add any shortcut to it.😍
@laaaably Love how practical your recommendations are. Moreover, I'd love to have the 45mm because of its bigger display but I have such a small wrist and I think it would look so awkward on me lol. Plus, 41mm is cheaper than the 45mm soooo it's really a great choice HAHAHHAHAHAHA
@jemieali I find that the 41mm isn’t too small in terms of functionality, but if you like to type with the qwerty keyboard then a bigger 45mm face will definitely be a better choice.
41mm for the entire length of the watch face 😩😩 actually, the screen is just over 30mm, the diameter is only about 40mm and the screen border is quite thick so I'm quite surprised that 41mm is very small, for 45mm the border is as thick as 41mm But with a larger display screen size, you will see that the border is quite thin and balanced. I think Apple should pay attention to that. For the 41mm size, the border should be thinner to make the display larger. When I first saw the 41mm screen, it was quite small and the thick bezels really disappointed me, but 45mm is too big for my wrist, I think 43-44mm is the most reasonable and the screen is big. Smaller bezels are a concern
You just got yourself a new subscriber. I’ve never owned an Apple Watch and I’m looking to purchase one today, I don’t have a big wrist lol. Would the 41 be just as good as the 45? What do you think.
@@PsychedOut.. I went with the 41, the 45 wasn’t made for my wrist. I rather have my wrist be comfortable than to have a bigger screen and comprise that tbh
What did you go with, if you don’t mind me asking? My wrist is tiny (even for a woman!). I think the 45 would be far too big, but I’m really worried by everyone saying the 41 is tiny irl.
Smart watches amaze me. I just love that something so compact can do so much. The 45mm defo seems more my style but I got a tiny wrist so it would look ridiculous. Where my tiny wristed people at? Lol
@ezra_kam_19 If I were to choose I'd definitely go for the 41 mm version since I got a smaller wrist so it would make more sense with it plus it's cheaper and pretty much offers the same specs as the bigger version. Also 2000 nits is mad for a watch but since I'm always outside that'd be really amazing and I wear my watches on my right wrist too since I'm left handed 😅😂😂
A lot of times when I wear a watch I forget it’s on and hit things would you say that the watch case could handle this or would I need to get a different case?
@martinisaacsaju definitely the s23, love the compact size and design and having the most software support among android makes it a definite winter for me.
Ah, you caught me:). Who says that men are consistent? For regular watches I do the 41-45 and then chose for good reason the 41. The Ultra is supposed to be oversized and I do like it.
Really informative . thanks . When a watch is measured is it diagonal from corner to corner (Like a TV) is that screen only or the actual housing as well? I plan on cutting a cardboard shape to check how the size looks . (Apple should provide a template like tis to print ...
Hi, no, the 45 mm has a bigger battery size, but as it has to serve a bigger surface this does not necessarily mean that it will have a better battery life
@tematotherescue at this point I'd rather wait for the Watch X Apple would announce next year. surely they'll go harder on new features and design for the 10th anniversary, right? the double tap gesture is really cool though.
