Yeah I just hard reseted mine and it worked had me freaking out for a second lol cause I barely used my Apple Watch it’s always dead so I decided to charge it and the snake of dead came on had me tripping out but just a quick hard reset did the job thank you !
Thanks for the vid. I was going mad, red snake no matter what I did. charge overnight, different chargers even got a new mag cable. reset over and over, still the red snake. * *Plugged it into my mac and it booted up in a couple of minutes.* * Why ? I don't know. But I hope this helps someone.
Same here. My version 1 hermes has red snake. Took over two weeks to drain and start over. It worked. For one charge, then red snake again. My version 1 rose gold same issue.
Tried all the options suggested in the video. Still stuck in the same red snake frozen mode. Problem started when I was initially setting up the watch to download the soft ware upgrade, which took about 4hrs. It indicated it was almost to be completed in just a few minutes when an emergency call out I had to leave the connected wifi zone and when I returned a few hours later this problem started on the watch. Any way forward to resolve this issue now…?
Only solution is … stop charging n fully drain it so that u’ll not see any thing on screen or just black … once battery fully drained , then charge it up
It’s been charging for an hour and the red snake still appears. Green snake when charging. I tried restarting my watch but it’s stuck on the red snake.
another thing you can try if that issue started when you tried updating the system: Let the apple watch charging only few minutes, until it gets hot. Then you remove it from the charger and keep repeating that. Every time you get about 1% of charge. If you get enough battery for starting the OS, don't do anything. You will need at least 50% for update the OS with another version without that bug. Do not try unpair it from iphone, that procedure you drain all your battery and you will not be able to reach the needed charge anymore.
