I own a series 6 and the battery health is 83% hence planning to upgrade to a new one. I am one of those people who prefer keeping my iPhone elsewhere on silent mode and using my watch for notifications and calls so that I donot get sucked into the vortex of social media. Would you recommend getting the Ultra 2 for wearing it throughout the day ? I wanted to understand if its as comfortable as the normal apple watches.
At first, you will notice it’s heavier. But after a short time period you’ll get used to it. I got the Ultra after having the series 7. I’ve had it for a year now. The other day I picked up my hubby’s series 6 and it felt like a toy. You’ll get used to it quick.
Aaron, do you think Apple will come out with an update soon. My ultra 2 is too dim in dark environments and there is no way to turn off auto brightness
I have now had the Ultra watch 2 watch on my wrist for 12 hours and I have used it to navigate 170 km by car. And to read messages and respond back and the battery is 90% right now. AOD is on all day at maximum brightness.
I just bought mines yesterday and retuning it today. Can’t see in the dark environment due to auto brightness and they don’t have any corrections or setting’s to make the adjustment.
Just got mine a couple days ago I love it the modular ultra face is so nice !!!! And the night mode is so clean !!!! It’s rugged but yet beautiful as far as battery life I had mine off the charger for about 41 hours and it was on 29% that’s with moderate usage and always on if you don’t got one get one !!!!
Since you skipped the Cellular Setup step would setting up this Apple Watch have been possible on an iPad? Have you ever made a video showing if its possible or not? Aligning the Apple Watch in the viewfinder is even the same as aligning the top of a HomePod mini with an iPad Pro...
I just hot this watch and do not like the fact that it’s very dim in the low light and dark areas. My WS7 is way brighter in dark to low lighted areas. I’m returning this watch ASAP unless someone can convince me that this issue will be fixed
Why is my Apple Watch dying in one day after lasting two days for the first few weeks. I’m on the current watchOS release and not beta. There must be an app that’s killing my battery.

I bought my apple watch ultra 2 on 9/26/23 I absolutely love mine. It goes great with my iPhone 14 Pro Max that I’ve barely had a year I’m not looking to upgrade to the 15 pro max just yet.
Another new feature on the Ultra Watch 2 is on-device Siri, it would be great to see in a future video how fast Siri responds to certain commands, and how the S9 improves the accuracy of dictation. These are two features that might make me upgrade from the Ultra 1
If you're reading this comment, could you please make a loooong video on Iphone 15 Pro (Max) showing us how to get the most out of our phone? A special focus on the camera would be welcome. I come from an Iphone XS Max, so for me the jump is significant. But all those camera settings like macro - zoom x5, portrait mode - all sound intimidating. If I pay that high price, I'd looove watching a video of you explaining everything we can do with the phone so I can get the most out of it.

Great review as always Aaron. One thing to note is that if you just turned on and set up the new Ultra 2 watch, it’s going to take a few minutes to one hour to get everything set up and running smooth. After that it gets a lot faster and smoother and quite noticeable over the Ultra 1.

That loop buckle is so annoying and fidgety. Yes I do have the right size and yes it sits to the side rather than dead bottom. Trial loop is the most comfortable band and the ocean is the most durable. I have all three.

Upgraded from S6 its really fast and a giant upgrade for me. But when I charge it it gets warm for some reason this never happened with the S6. Everytghing updated as well
@@rileyhance318 Just a little update. out of curiosity I unpaired the watch and set it up as a new one and charged it this morning didn't sense any heat. (previously I restored the watch)
The other way i noticed that it was the utral 2, i looked at the capacity.. ultra 1 only has 32gb. Ultra 2 shows 64gb. I had my ultra 1 for a week and switched last night. I will be keeping the watch for years so i wanted to make sure to have the latest SOC( i will not call it sip...)

No disrespect to anyone. To each their own. However, to me, the watch doesn’t justify the price point. I wanted to treat myself with a new watch, but I’ll hold off. My SE works just fine.
