Apple Watch Ultra - Real DAYS in the Life! 

The quality of the videos over the last couple years have just been blowing me away. That top down setup is sick!! And lining up the siren of the watch with the music was a really, really nice touch. Nothing average about these videos. Just sayin.

Awesome review! If you don’t want your screen interfered with while you’re working out, just activate water lock. It disables all touch input until you push and hold the digital crown for five seconds.

People go try it on before writing it off I'm coming from the 45mm 7 so it's not that much of a stretch for me with that said I'm a female 4"11 and pushing around 120lbs and I'm rocking it I actually forget it's on my wrist until I get a message or call.

When I am in homeoffice I use low Power mode and when I go out I use it normal. Today 12h I lost 10% from 98% to 88%. Love the battery!

Got mine last Friday and absolutely love it. Only need to charge it about every other day which is great.

When you’re the first one here and don’t know what to say

The flashlight button on the watch is great. I use the light on my series 5 all the time but having a dedicated button would be handy. Another useful feature on the iPhones people forget is "Back Tap" which you can assign to the flashlight and activate by double tapping the back of your phone to turn on or off at will. Great video by the way, keep it up.

Just got mine today and I absolutely love it! It’s hands down the best Apple Watch ever made and is a tank! Apple knocked it out the park with this one!

I couldn’t justify the price for the extra features that I wouldn’t even use so I got the series 8 45 from a series 3 instead and love it!

two obvervations, cos most people do not know, on iPhones you have the double tap on the back on the phones ( works with a case too ) to use this as a shortcut for different things, and there is a way to lock your apple watch screen, bring control center and touch the water droplet icon , this will put the watch in water mode , this is cool for when u wear gloves and do not want accidental presses.

Bought mine from my carrier but won’t get it until November after my 40th birthday which is in November so a cool birthday present can’t wait

For workouts being paused because the wrist accidentally hits the crown, I ran into this a lot and I went into settings and set the crown orientation (this is a different setting than which wrist you're wearing it on) and it's never happened again. I got used to it in a day, highly recommended for anybody who's running into same issue

You say it’s your main watch moving forward, but it is it or would it be your main watch if you didn’t have to buy it for your business on RU-vid

You can lock the watch during workouts. You swipe to the left where the pause and so on re and there is a „lock“ option

Received my Apple Watch Ultra yesterday. First watch from Apple I’ve bought since the original Series 3. A few quick thoughts: 1. Although the watch looks mahoosive, it really isn’t. Even on my skinny wrist it looks fine. Might be due to the fact that I don’t mind bigger size watches, but still… 2. Happy with the battery life. Coming from COROS (30+ days) and Garmin (Marq, 14 days), I tend to charge my watch every nite anyway. Will use every now and again for sleep tracking, but 2-3 days (if needed) is enough (I also don’t use the always-on function). 3. For a guy who does cardio in the gym four times a week, running mostly, it’s good to know I won’t be bogged down with information I may not use or care about (that might be down to me though, as I run purely for enjoyment, mental health, and to keep fit). 4. The brightness is a bit - weird? This may be to do with all Apple watches, but I sat in a darkened room for a few minutes after getting back from the gym, and the watch face looked dim. Changed the brightness settings, still no difference. It’s only after going into a room with light that the watch brightens up again. Hmm… 5. I’m finally happy to have an Apple watch to use as my daily timepiece. Although I have a skinny wrist, I didn’t think the previous Apple watches looked that great on me. This one does - even in titanium.

If you don’t want to accidentally press the crown button or other apps on your watch, use the watch proof mode it will lock out your watch button and apps until you do a deep long press of the crown and then it will expel water if you had gotten it wet. Otherwise, it will serve your purpose while working out at the gym or doing other activities

just returned mine. Too big for me. It bothered me so much in the gym. I have now bought the Apple Watch 8 in aluminum. This doesn't interfere with the exercises at all.

I bought it mainly for 2 reasons and am super happy. Reason #1 is the size and it’s awesome and reason #2 the flat screen is such an awesome look. I don’t use any of the extra features and again I am beyond happy with my purchase I bought it online day one it released .

It’s a good watch and it’s super nice looking, but I am not spending that type of money for just a watch. Probably for a phone, but not a watch.

The way points is great for festivals, events, or ppl who are bad at finding their parking spot. The alarm sound is great for ppl who drive cars or ride motorcycles in case they crash or land in a ditch. Especially in the winter.

I love my Ultra and it is my main watch. I will be using this watch as my secondary dive computer. It’s great that I can include my dives because those are workouts 😂.

If you don’t like the crown messing up your workout you can switch your watch on the right hand until your down with your workouts

You can also tell Siri to turn on the flashlight, in case you really can’t press any buttons on your watch. And to avoid accidentally hitting the crown, you set setup your watch so that the crown is on the left of the Watch (reverse crown position).

When you’re working out, just hit the water lock button if you don’t want your workout to get paused during activity.

Love mine and use the flashlight however if it’s on sleep mode , you have to hold the crown a few seconds to unlock then press the quick button again which is annoying. Love the larger text and bright display in the day. Definitely a keeper and I’ve had an Apple Watch from series 0 and changed to upgrade almost yearly.

You don’t need a flashlight button on your phone… You tap your phone screen and the flashlight button is in the bottom left-hand corner on your lock screen🤦‍♂️🤣🤣

So I always buy the stainless steel watch for durability. So should I get this (next version, not this one since I have series 7) over stainless steel going forward?

Yes I love it. The screen is amazing and I love the battery life. Also, my arm may sling against a wall or a door and tap my watch, but the watch doesn't scratch or ding the surface. I wish it came in black.

I had the same issue when working out. Switched the watch so that the dial was on the other side on my wrist and in settings and problem solved.
