This is one of our favorite restaurants in Pigeon Forge. I highly recommend the apple fritter mix and apple butter. We are coming here for Thanksgiving.
We love the Apple Barn! I have enjoyed the Julep Chicken, and the chicken salad plate with fruit. We have never had a bad meal there! I wish we had taste o vision! Have a blessed week!😊👍
Your foods look delicious! But Will, where’s the cornbread?! I have to have cornbread with pot roast! lol We have never tried the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. We always visit the Apple Barn General Store. Shopping and bringing home a few souvenirs. And of course eating their yummy sweet apple treats! And we always have Apple Cider too! 🍎🍁🍂
Whenever we come up to the mountains, we have 3 restaurants that we always go to. The Applewood Farmhouse, Grandma's Farmhouse & Huck Fins. Of course we go to other's but can't leave without eating at those 3.
We had a delicious breakfast there just this morning. Our waitress gifted us a Applewood tumbler on behalf of their 35 Anniversary! A must stop everytime I'm in the area. Wonderful staff, surroundings and food. Fun place to gather with friends!!

One thing to note, they do not serve pot roast in the larger restaurant. I love that they give the fritters and the julep before the meal. The atmosphere is so lovely and it I'd definitely comfort food!!!

Made my day seeing your video today. My Son just went up to Sevierville from college in Florida to Intern at the Applewood Farmhouse as a Manager in Training. This week he was on the line, so maybe he even cooked your meal :) I was watching closely hoping to see him in the background but no luck. I'm sending him your video to watch. I'll be coming up to visit him for Thanksgiving and will be having our Thanksgiving at the Applewood Farmhouse, can't wait.
I can say I have eaten there and everything about this place is never a disappointment! I got to PF one Christmas Eve and could not find anything Open for dinner. Found out the Apple wood Barn was open with limited wait time. As Luck would have it the wait was no longer than 15/20 minutes and it was a PACKED HOUSE! Throughly enjoyed it and now every time I go it is Always packed..

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, that is one of my favorite restaurants, and I like to walk through the shops in between the two main restaurants after a meal. 👍❤️🚛

We have eaten there probably 15 times. It's always great. The vegetable soup is so good. Always go to the restaurant in the back. My wife wants to sit in the swing tables. Never have got to.
Hi Will and Dawn you guys have the best restaurants in your neck of the woods! Last time I was at the Apple Barn I had the fried apple pie with ice cream and it was really delicious! I wish I could retire to the Pigeon Forge area but after doing some research I found out that I would have to go to Knoxville for some of my medical needs and I don't drive so that may prove as an obstacle but the city I will be retiring to has some really excellent medical services to meet my needs which is Grand Junction, Colorado and it really is beautiful there as well but the food and entertainment is still better where you all are.Take care of yourselves and enjoy that chow and for me will ya?😊❤️
This is one of our MUST GO TO places everytime that we are in the smokies. This is our all tome favorite place to ear along with the Old Mill. We sat in that same swing chair when we ate there one time. The apple fritters and the apple butter is sooo good. It is to die for. I usually always get the chicken and dumplings but Dawn's sampler looked so good. The next time that i am there i sm going to have to get that. We always go to the store next door and buy some to bring home with us. Will and Dawn you are making me so homesick and hungry for "our smoky mountains ". We miss it so much. Thanks for sharing this with us and fors taking us "back home".
What,a nice Restaurant..loved the swing the apple 🍏 fritters looked delicious..some friends took me to Texas Roadhouse..the food was delish and the company was fantastic
This is my favorite place I've been there since I was at least 7 or 8 and now at 31 being in Franklin North Carolina not to far away about an hour and a half so I still always make a trip to good there when I visit the area
I just tried the Applewood Farmhouse last weekend, the fritters & apple-butter was amazing!! The meatloaf, sweet-potato casserole was awesome! I hope to be able to meet you guys sometime!!! Keep up with the good work!! Much love from Ohio.
great video guys! i eat there all the time. their general store is great too. when i was there a couple of weekends ago, i stayed in Cherokee for a conference and i had to cross over the mountain for part of a day in PF before heading home and this was the place i stopped to eat. i have eaten one time in the swing, i had to swing up to my plate to get a bite! LOL this too is one of my all time favorite places to eat Will.
I’ve been to the Apple Barn Restaurants many times. They are very similar and very good! If it’s your first trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg the Apple Barn and Old Mill are must stops. I will say this, go hungry. If you plan right, it will be the only meal you will need for the day. I also buy a box of the Apple Fritter mix in the store and make them a few weeks after I have been!
We love the Applewood Farmhouse restaurant! Have been going there for many years and we still love it. I love their vegetable soup. You can't beat the Apple Barn apple butter - it puts all others to shame. Glad you enjoyed your meal and thanks for making me hungry. Missing the smokies.

Been there many times. Took our grand daughter at 2 years old. Now she is 24 with her own 2 year old. Where does time go. I remember magic world porpoise island and Ogles water park. Getting old is no fun. Frank and I hope we can make 1 more trip to the mountains.
