A lot of information in this video. Thank you very mucho . I do have that program and didn’t know how to get rid of some under stitches, I going to save it video to go over all that . 👍👍👍
I found you earlier tonight after doing a search for your machine type. I’ve stayed and subscribed because of how helpful your videos are! I literally just made this same set (with my own twist, but using some of the same fabric types you did) for my niece’s 4th birthday outfit, and I definitely could’ve benefited from ALL of these tips in Embrilliance! I’m currently on a PE-800 single needle, and I also purchased several of her files to diversify my Etsy store, and I can’t wait to use these tips to make the future samples even better, not to mention easier on ME! 😂 I’m so glad I found your channel! Thank you so much!!
@@1922project hey! I’m working on creating new files now that my sweet birthday got her birthday outfit yesterday and the party is over so I can devote more time to this. What version of Embrilliance allows you to add the portion where you change it to appliqué so it removes the stuff on bottom? When I click the right side and click the color like you did, but it doesn’t let me assign as appliqué. I’m using Enthusiast, but I’ll purchase the module that allows that. I’m thinking Essentials, but want to make sure. Thanks!!
@@Heart2HeartCreations yes, I have Essentials. I don't have Enthusiast so I'm not sure of it's capabilities but maybe send Embrilliance a message just to confirm that Enthusiast doesn't do that before you buy!
@@1922project thanks! I was able to confirm looking at their website and purchased Essentials later that day. I haven’t had a chance to come back to editing though. When I do, I’ll be going step by step with this tutorial 😊
I just use my normal 75/11 needle and I would say that the temp really depends on your iron. I got a new one and learned very quickly that I had to turn it down some. If I use my heat press I do 305
Hello Kelli, great video as always. I have done a t shirt with glitter embroidery vinyl, but when i wash tested my sample, some of the glitter came off. I had it on the usual 40 degree wash temperature. Would you please tell me what temperature this should be? I would appreciate your advice. Thank you. Regards, Ann.
Hey Ann, thanks so much for watching! So, I haven't had this trouble but have heard of it happening. I almost exclusively use HTV now instead of embroidery vinyl just in case. That being said, I think that if you just wash cold and lay flat to dry it shouldn't be a huge issue. The drier would for sure risk damaging the embroidery vinyl. Hope that helps!
You mentioned that you don’t need to add heat and bond to the Faux Leather Ribbon from hobby lobby. Does it stick to the fabric after ironing it? Or does it just stay separated?
Hi Kelly.. I tried the HTV today but think I made the mistake of ironing it after I had trimmed it, I only did this because I watched a tutorial that said to do this? I had problems with my needles bending and the top thread gathering in the bobbin area? I can only assume it’s because I ironed it and it made it sticky so my machine didn’t like it, maybe I should have left ironing it until after, would you agree! Many thanks 😊
I always iron mine after, Suzi! No need to iron during stitchout. Also, are you using glitter HTV? I'm not sure the regular non-glitter works that well!
Embrilliance (or any editing software) isn't necessary to begin! If you have designs ready to go you can just plug in your flash drive and go! Get to know your machine first and then you'll definitely want some sort of editing software but no need to rush!
It’s from Curtsy Embroidery. She’s on Etsy but I purchased from her website and I believe it was cheaper that way. I bought three different ones I just still need to stitch up the other two!
I do international ship!! If you want to make sure everything is in your budget before you buy feel free to email me at projectfabricsonline@gmail.com with what all you would want and I'll find out the cheapest way to ship. There are built in prices on the site but if I can do it cheaper for you I will!
Oh, and I actually never really buy embroidery vinyl so I'm not really sure. I typically use HTV or the faux leather ribbon from Hobby Lobby. I do believe people really like Angela at Kids Custom Designs/AJ Blanks though!
