Also make sure you have taken the time to get your business story and brand story together. Most grant apps want to know how did you get started, why did you start, what is your brand story, etc.

Check the grants link in the description box. I see grants that are solely for NY residents all of the time. Just go through the list and apply for what you qualify for.
