This is good. Right from information on PRESTO to other topics. You have been pretty clear. I have to say your channel is under-rated, but sooner or later I am sure things will change with consistency..! Good luck!
Are you planning to apply for PR? I got my PR around 3.5 years after I landed in Canada. I am not an immigration lawyer/adviser, but I will try to answer your questions if I can, to the best of my knowledge!
Your video is very informative. Thank you so much! I'm from Thailand and currently going through what you went through. It seems that my application through federal skill worker scheme might not be fruitful. I'm planning to apply for postgrad certificate but wondering as per your experience was your one year education gave you enough time to get PR? Would it be better to apply for 2 yrs course to have PGWP 3 giving me more time to get PR? Appreciate your videos and responses ❤️
Thank you for that insightful video. What do I do when my profile keeps on saying "Ineligible" immediately I submit an application? I searched a lot of forums and couldn't get a solution. Thank you.
Your videos are very informative and easy to follow. Thanks for taking the time to share! Quick question, if you have a valid OWP but also qualify for the FSW, can you apply even on your first day in Canada?
Thanks for the detailed vid. 🙌🏼 I have a question about the language test. My first language is English so one would assume I can max out the points in that category, but after watching a mock test I’m a little concerned. 😅 I won’t have a lot of room for error so I really need to nail the English test. How did you find it?
Hi, this video exactly relates to my current situation, only difference is I have 1 yr Canadian education and don't have to arrange proof of funds but 8 yr work experience in my country (India). What should I do further? Can u guide me?
Thank you for the information. If I am doing a 4-year PhD and I have already completed 2 years of full-time studies but don't have a degree yet, can I get 5 points for the "Adaptability-Your past studies in Canada" criterion? Thank you again.
I want to know the difference between express entry and federal skill worker. The passing criteria for FSW is 67/100 marks, but in case of express entry, we need high marks such as 480. please clarify the difference between express entry and federal skill worker.
Please does a skilled work run by you for at least 7 years count as work experience. Example, i am a plumber back in my country and i have been doing this for 7years, but i pay myself. Is this an adequate work experience to present?
Your video is very helpful. I would like to ask if you know what should I do if want to apply thru FSW w/o providing POF since I have skilled job already here in Canada just this Aug 2023?
Thank you for the video. I wanted to ask you if the education certificate must be the same as the work experience. I studied translation, but I had experience as an English Teacher (2 part-time jobs) which has a different NOC.
Thanks! Not that I'm aware of. My husband's bachelor's degree was graphic design, but his work experience in Canada was not related to that. But he did get a postgrad here that was related to his work experience. I cannot guarantee this info as I'm not an immigration advisor ***disclaimer!***, but I don't see there being a problem with prior education not meeting work experience field. Hope that helps!
Hello! Thank you for this very detailed and informative video. Really appreciate it. I am planning to go though this FSW process but I have one major question. I am a vfx lighting artist so is it possible for me to apply through this? If so then what should be my NOC? I couldn’t get the exact job listed but I was hoping if you could give me an insight. Thank you.
Hi there, and thank you for your kind words! I don't know what the NOC is, it is a very specialized and interesting job and skill you have! With the NOCs it can be tricky sometimes. What I learned from an immigration consultant is that the important thing is not just to find a matching job title in the NOC, but read through the job descriptions and find one that best matches yours. Perhaps you could scroll through some other film production related jobs and find one that is closes to yours. If you still find difficulties, I would recommend getting in touch with an immigration lawyer/consultant. Cheers!
Thanks for your great video, I have a question though. I started working part-time for my current employer during my studies and now I'm graduated and work full stime for them. But along side that i was also TA and RA at university. So Can I add up all the hours from all the jobs I have done to gain that 1500 hours?
Thank you! Right, as far as I know it has to be within the last 10 years. There are a bunch of other requirements, check it out here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html
Hi thank you so much for a very informative video. And may I ask also if it would be better option for me to apply thru EE CEC or FSW? I am already in Canada with 1 year experience (teer2) and with more 10 years foreign experience (teer2). Celpip is CLB 7, OWP holder. Thank you so much
Perhaps you could try using the CRS tool to calculate how many points you would score each? Also regarding foreign experience (if you were to use FSW), remember that you will need to gather the documentation to prove your foreign work experience, which can be quite some work. Just something to consider!
Hello Ma’am. I have my ITA. FSW healthcare category. But I have a full time managerial job with salary and 40 hours per week. Please can I use my pay stubs and employment letter as my POF. or do I need the 13,757?
Hi Thank you for the great video. I have just filled my Express Entry application because I found out about the FSW and the fact that I won’t need one year of full-time work within Canada. I did my masters here in Canada, have a valid job offer, and my CELPIP was the highest possible range point and I am 26 years old. I put more than 3years of foreign work experience in the last 10 years in a NOC 1 field relevant to my degree. After submitting my application, I got a very immediate message after 30minutes that I am ineligible! While based on my calculations I should have been more than eligible. It didn’t even ask me to provide my official job offer. Do you know where could I have possibly made a mistake?
As a product Designer with 3 years of proven foreign experience(BA, MA, PhD (Course completed) all in Business Administration ). Can I get a PR? Thanks a lot.
Hi I have a question. My points for fsw is 77 so i should be eligible for fsw but when I applied for express entry, it says that I only met the Canadian Experience class but on FSW it says “not met”. I was already in the pool but only with CEC that is “met”. My question is, to be drawn for fsw oinp should it be written at the fsw column “met?”
i recently got a job teer2. im holding a open work permit. Am i elligible to apply EE CEC AFTER 1 YEAR? What are the things to consider in CEC? Thank you so much
I have a question, Im an international student living in Ontario, and I obviously have a work permit. Is it valid to apply for PR? I dont have proof of funds. funds.
I am an LPN outside of Canada. But I have a permit to practice as an LPN i Alberta issued by the college of license Practical nurses of Alberta. Do i stand the chance of getting provincial nomination? Will the certificate matter when creating a profile?
To work legally in Canada you have to either be citizen, PR, or have a work permit. To get a work permit you either need to get a job first in Canada, or, as spouse of student, you can also get an open work permit.
If I have a foreign experience of 1 year and a Canadian 1 yr diploma, will I be able to qualify for fsw? Also the reference letter from my employer is dated a year back , I took it when I left my domestic country, is it fine or I'll need a new one?
I'd suggest you to use the CRS tool to estimate your score, I talk about it in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AhsEBljemw0.html Then, you can compare it against the Express Entry pool/rounds of invitation, there will be a video on that soon. That way you can get a better idea of where you stand.
i am currently working in canada with an open work permit, if i will apply for PR through FSW EE, does my foreign work experience should be related to my current work here in canada?
