Hello! 😊
hi! just want to ask what is your work here in Japan? kc i’ve noticed that your application process is thru diplomatic mission, which is not the usual process for those whose purpose is tourism.Kasi may ibang way pa in applying visa, which is more complicated in think, kc they require hotel reservations and airline tickets, also at least 2years residency in japan. Pati ung residence card, not all who have residence card are allowed to apply, may mga list lng na pwede. Just want to clarify lng din, thank you.
@@shellynadugo666 Im just a regular kaishain 😊. Diplomatic mission portal is for schedule appointment only. All tourism related application goes there. The actual online visa application is different website where you put the reason which is Tourism. I don't know where you get the complicated idea. I read it on their website, just search it. The process is simple and straight forward. If there is an update, can you share the website link where you read that complicated requirement?
. Huhuhu. Nag email at tumawag din ako sa embassy kaso walang sumasagot. Any advices po sana. Eto nalang kulang ko eh bank statement. Salamat po
@@irenejanehimaya7000 Do you have online bank statements?
Now when I check on reservation time slots on website, it shows latest date is july. So does it mean we don't need to book for visa appointment . I wanna apply visa at Nagoya Korean Embassy.
@@MasonJoe-m4m You can only do the reservation every Thursday 10AM. Thats when you can see the slots availability. But I could be wrong and you might want to double check on your consulate in Nagoya.
hi! Thanks for this video! I went through filling out the app form online and tried to apply for a schedule. At first, they sent me a notif email that my visit was successfully scheduled, then 30 mins later i got another email telling me the visit had been canceled. this was not the first time. so, I am getting frustrated. anything that I may have done wrong? i tried leaving out the "identification number" blank, then the visit got canceled. I filled out the "identification number" with my application number (on the form), still the same result. help please :/
Hello there! Did you apply the appointment on the schedule window? It only opens every Thursday at 10AM (double schedule the next date when they open the slots)
@@pinoygaijintravelsthe thing is i have tried on the Thursdays that the appointment reservation opens, but there are always no spots free like EVER even two mins after 10AM. I have been trying to have an appointment with the embassy in Fukuoka for a month, and the thing is, they always also open the reservations every day but the website only shows the one for the current day and the next (i.e. I login the website and try to have a spot reserved outside the Thursday that they open the reservations let’s say Tuesday, so the website shows that there is an opening for Tuesday and Wednesday). What I don’t get is: why would the website open reservations outside those two Thursdays, actually allow me to have an appointment, send an email that my reservation is successful, only to send me another email within 30mins taking it all back. :/
Same po din sa akin, nag okay na xa Kaso after 30 mins. Nag mail ulit na nacanceled na daw. Ang reason sa baba is korean language kaya trinanslate ko then sabi dun check the website and enter residence card information😢 Pero kahit ano hanap ko saan ko ienter yung residence card info . Wla nmn ..
Can I make an appointment on behalf of my family members who will travel together to Korea? A. YES, but you are allowed to make an appointment only for yourself, your parents, spouse and children. Your appointments for your cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives will be cancelled by the Embassy. i. Please note that you need to put all the passport numbers and full names of your family members in the field of Special Request. source: overseas.mofa.go.kr/ph-en/brd/m_3272/view.do?seq=760872
Hi! Thank you very much for your detailed video! I have some few questions: 1. I did the e-visa (app form), when I received the print copy with barcode, I noticed na meron po siyang question dun na wala sa e-form (does the applicant have any family members in Korea), so hindi siya nasagot, is it okay na pag print isulat ko "no" pero pano po kaya un kung iscan nila ung barcode? 2. Meron din pong question na "Details of invitation" if meron nag iinvite sa akin to apply for a visa, the reason kung bakit ako ppnta ng korea is for 2 reasons: Attend a friend's wedding (1day only) then other days mag travel around (7days to travel), need kaya imention ung details of invitation? 3. Yung fees na babayaran po, san po babayaran and kelangan po ba bayaran before pumunta or dun na po babayaran? Thank you very much!
@@Mcfries-x3z Thank you 😊 1. It happened to me, not all the details are there, but they will retrieve it when they scan the barcode. So dont worry. As long you answer all the questions during online application. 2. There is no need for the invite since for tourist lang naman tlaga pakay mo dun and as lkng self funded trip mo. 3. There is no payment. I didn't pay anything 😉 Hope it answer all your questions
Hello po, ask ko lang po yong bank statement niyo po ba is translated into English? Kasi last time po I asked a bank statement in JP bank is available lang in nihongo. And also, Juminhyo po, dapat naka translate din in English? Thanks po in advance.
hey, thank you for the video. Is there a lower limit on how much money I need to prove in bank statements for financial expenses? If you can tell me where I can check, I would be grateful.
Hi. Question lang regarding sa e-form. Once nasubmit na siya and naprint na yung form with the barcode, all you need to do is to sign it po ba? May part kasi sa printed form na na-cut kapag na-save yung file pero full naman nailagay before submitting (for example, name of school, name of person dun sa funding details/self funded pero hindi full name nakalagay due to limited characters). Thank you.
Hello po. Thank you po sa very detailed video, ask ko lang po if ... 1. 2. Kelangan na po ba namin mag make ng reservation sa hotel before applying for Visa? 3. Pwede ko po ba isabay i-reserve ng appointment ang mom and brother ko po while logging in one account? 4. We're planning po to go in SK next year for just few days as holiday trip, kelan po kami pwede mag apply for Visa? like how many months before po? sorry po for asking many questions, hope po na you can response in my questions. thank you po.
@@r_r.o.s.e Just to be clear the process on this video only applies if you reside here in Japan. 1. It is not required 2. Its up to you, In my case i book a hotel that can be cancelled without a fee through booking(dot)com 3. I think its only for single application per login, but you can reserve them individually. 4. As early as 3 months prior to your trip pwede mag apply. Hope this answer to your questions.
Thank you po😊. Sa Japan IO:Passport, res card lang and Departure card Korea IO: Passport and printed E-visa(printed hotel bookings in cased they asked)
This is to really prove na meron ka financial capacity to travel. COE is supplementary, but good to send too kasi it means employed ka pa rin and have the reason to go back to your home country. Do not book tickets in advance. Better buy one once you got your visa. Or buy a flexi one, that you can rebook in case you change your travel plan.
I've read on the website that you can apply at the Korean embassy in Japan if you've been residing in Japan for at least 2 years. Do you happen to know if this still holds true? Can an SSW visa holder, residing in Japan for less than a year be able to apply for Korean tourist visa at the embassy there in Japan? Thank you!
I don't know where do you read that at least two years. Any Visa folder (SSW, Instructor or Engg Visa) can apply for Korean Tourist Visa as long as your Residence (Zairyu) card is still valid for more than 3 months (if remember correctly) during your actual travel. Unless there is a limitation
@@pinoygaijintravelsIt's on the SK embassy website under "Confirmation points for third country nationals in Japan when applying for a visa at the Korean Embassy in Japan". The date of posting such info is from 2019, so not sure if anything has changed. I have SSW brothers in Japan, and asked them to call the embassy to verify such info. However, embassy is not answering 😅 But thanks for this info!

First of all, Thanks for the detailed video. Arent they not going to ask for your hotel reservation? onward or back flight ticket? day-to-day itinerary of your visit? cover letter introducing yourself and reason for travel? it got me confused since it was indicated in some website query. please if you can clarify?
No they will not asked for hotel, airline, itinerary nor cover letter (this applies only if applying Korean Tourist Visa in Japan) Application requirements of Kvisa in Phils and Japan are different so dont be confused. Hence I made this guide for Japan residents.
Hello! Thanks for your informative video. I just wanted to know po kung gano katagal po bago kayo makapagreserve ng appointment for visa application? I tried applying in sa Yokohama pero wala pong open slots. We tried in Tokyo din pero they don't accommodate non-resident.
In my experience, I reserved on Nov 2 (Thu) for Nov 7 (Tue) appointment. Please remember they only open the slots every Thursday morning at 10AM. Mabilis maubos ang schedule slots.
Hello, first of all thank you and your video is very helpful could you check the reservation website, was trying to book an appointment and can not even make one, even for next two month.
You can only book an appointment on the day where the timeslots are opened. If you are in Tokyo, the slots are gone just within an hour. You can check when the timeslots are opened here > shorturl.at/nqLPT
Thank you, knowing the details of South Korea tourist visa through the said video, I would have benefited more if, where in Tokyo, from whom to get help and in which agency to do the online application, because I am not proficient in computers
I can't find any agency that helps Korean Visa here in Tokyo, thats why I did it myself even its mendouksai. Find a friend who is good in computer and get help and used this as guide. Goodluck on your Korean Visa Application
