How would you ballast the power-loc track so if in the future you want sell it. I have about 60' of it that I got from my brother b4 he passed away. I have lots of Brass that I haven't used and some Steel plus silver nickle. The power-loc track is set up because it has a continuous flow of power, but sits higher and I don't want to lay loose ballast down, I've been searching internet, but not find anything on it.
Hi Larry, another great video. Do you have plans to illustrate how one might apply ballast to track laid over a cork roadbed? The sides of the cork roadbed presents a particular challenge to me and I would appreciate your ideas.
Rick Chancey I’ll address in the next video since I will be doing it in the layout itself and I use cork roadbed. So stay tuned. However I did mention in this video that I use the foam brush to manicure the shoulder of the roadbed.
Be patient for a couple more days and you’ll get the Full Monty demonstration. Part 2 ran so long I had to break out the demonstration on the layout into a third video.
I think you probably are referring to my SW1’s. Those were sold by Walthers. Althiugh not available from them they pop up in eBay so just keep an eye out for them
I don’t think they offered them with DCC. BLI did SW7s with DCC sound so look for those on eBay and maybe at some hobby shops that stocked a lot fo BLI stuff.
