Gorilla Glue Clear worked for me on three old rods. Dries fast and ultra shiny. UV resistant, cheap in price and can be found at any hardware store.

Its a fishing pole, this is how you apply epoxy to seal the guides for the fishing line

I use a Flexcoat Rod dryer basically it is a 9 rpm motor you can purchase on amazon

In this video I was using Flexcoat, I switched to Pro Kote it has a little thinner constancy then Flex Coat. Flex Coat also starts to cure faster to a point you cant work it. Hope this helps
