I think I got scammed by the ssi they were supposed to pay me 27years back from 1986 I was 18years old when I first applied for benefits and I think that they owe me money still
Hi Ray! If you believe there was an error in your backpay, you should contact Social Security. They should be able to explain how backpay is calculated and determined.
During my hearing for disability in Oregon, the judge and an attorney hired by Allsup made an agreement for the attorney to send in more medical records, some from prior surgery that for some reason wasn't previously submitted and my continuing doctor visits. To my disbelief, this was never done and now my disability has been denied. I have been trying to find an attorney that will help me with this but it seems that they don't want to as many have told me this is not in their field. Even those that were referred to me have not responded in over three weeks. All efforts to communicate with Allsup and the person they hired have gone unanswered. Who, if anyone could help me with this? I even tried to contact a company in Oregon designed, I thought, to help answer questions like this. I have heard from no-one.
Hi! I would continue to try and contact your representative who helped you file in the first place. If that does not work, you can continue to seek an attorney who can help you appeal the judges decision.
