Why not try Stanford, CMU, MIT? With good background, you should be able to get into at least one of them.

Hi! thank you for your videos, they are really helpful and clear. I have a question about studying and applying to medicine at Canadian Unis, such as University of Toronto. I understood that in Canada, there is a different system to studying medicine, you have to get a bachelor degree first and then apply to MD program, as well as taking some prerequisite courses that are required, and can't apply directly after high school, am I right? My question is about the prerequisite courses, how do you apply for these, are they in one program or do you select them individually? and I am really struggling with finding the requirements for these courses, as an IB student, I don't know what IB grades are equivalent to the requirements of these courses! I hope my questions are clear :) I don't know if you will be able to answer them, but thank you either way! Also, I really like your videos, they are fun to watch, keep on going!!

Hi Hadia, in Canada the process to becoming a doctor is through Medical School which you apply to after you finish your undergrad (usually Health-related). Take McMaster Health Science, one of the best health related program in Canada, they ask for these four courses plus two other courses: Biology, Chemistry, English, and either Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, or Data Management. IB offers all of these courses. Due to the high mark requirement for health related programs, you should aim for a 6 or a 7 in your final mark for such courses. Hope that helps!

@@NelsonLeeYT Thank you so much for the reply! If I'm considering university of Toronto, do you have any suggestions for undergraduate programs I could take? (Considering that I will be applying for medical school) Thank you again!

@@Haebamie I would recommend looking at the Life Science program. However, what you apply for depends on what medical path you pursue (doctor, nurse, specialist, etc.)
