Applying Veining with Genesis heat set paints - Reborn Doll Tutorial 

When me and my friend are older, we're going to buy an apartment/Flat to live in and create Reborns. I love your tutorials because they real help, along with the Secrist x

@xxonfireahhxx2 - Welcome to the wonderful world of reborning. The blue wash is only applied to doll kits that are presenting an orange colour, by applying the blue wash it neutralizes the orange and gives you a nice base skin colour to start from. You can then apply your veining and flesh coats.

@LBreborns I know you posted this comment a while back, but I would hope that you made the mottling layer as light as possible..it's the best way for a toddler! :)

@AGdollsproductions11 - You can either do it before or after but I like to do it before the flesh coats so it give an under the skin look to it.

@homes2clean - I to have a fan forced oven and it works great...I do find that I need 2 oven thermometers to get the correct temperature.

@1ErikaMonteiro - Each coat should be baked at 130 degrees Celsius for approx 9 minute.

@shortiegirl18 - Sounds like you need to thin the mix down more, this will avoid the chalky look.

@sourthing01 - It's to blend the colour in so you don't have any sharp edges.

you could always just use Bountiful baby Vein Blue paint colour

@stillmomentsnursery OH after mottling you do another flesh coat. After that flesh coat, do you do more mottling...?

Does it matter what order you do all of these things in( flesh coat,Beijing,mottling)

what if you have not got all of these colours could you just use ultramarine blue for vaining or is adding red an dpurple important

are heat set paints better than air dry ones ? as ive been using air dry ones but skin colour looks slightly chalky and slightlly blotchy ? your babies are amazing thankyou for all your tips its well apriciated :D xxx

when you sponge the vynil is it to make it look fade or erasing??

I bought my reborn baby, but she isnt colored so realistic. I want to apply some mottling and veining, but she has hair attached with glue. Can i do that and than bake head?

no you apply your flesh coat on after you have painted the veins and then yyou do your mottling onto and after that you don't do another flesh coat

do you do this before or after mottling anyone pleaes
