As a native Russian speaker I can say that that translation was ok but the "sidelined" word she's using is slang word derived from English word "able" kinda like you call certain thing "loliable" so she wishes that seats were "sittable" aka "suitable" to seat there in lolita aka she wants more space for her petti OR she is implying that seats are rather dirty to seat on them in lolita.
Omg- thank you for the complements! I love my Kumyas, that cord was part of a series to style my cheap BTSSB (got it for $25 at a swap meet) dress many ways. ❤️🐻❤️
I’m still playing ACNH (lockdown 🤷🏻) and Ursala reminds me of Lor, so I keep giving her lolita & Lor-esque clothing and I made her catchphrase “lovely” 🐻👉🏻👈🏻
AHHHHHH I ordered a supa cool JSK "strawberry macaroon" it's by diamond honey and I'm so happy it's so cute jsjsnskslslsl can't wait till it gets hereeeee
I hope Lor gets a blue wig :3 I have trouble getting into the holiday spirit. This year I bought 2 eighteen inch trees. One black and one rainbow. I can't decorate to save my soul though.
Hi so this looks awesome I always wait for your videos because you are the one of the few lolita RU-vidrs I like! Also I’m kind of early so I’m taking this opportunity to comment but I’m not asking for likes and I actually care about the videos
This outfit looks absolutley amazing! I was really into Lolita fashion and other japanese styles when I was younger and I actually remember you since then. I watch your videos a lot nowadays and you make me wanna go back to the fashion slowly... I truly still love it and I know my heart does too but I'm so scared of getting judged. Sweden is kind of a judgemental country, I barley see any with a different kind of fashion (everyone looks the same tbh) But thank you so much for inspiering me and making my heart miss all of it. I still have my old lolita dresses left... we'll see if I go back or not^-^
Oh neighbour, I feel your pain! I bet it's the same as in Finland, mainly greys and black. I once wore a simple dark blue dress with a large brimmed hat and high-heel boots (as basic as an outfit can get in my opinion) and 4/5 people driving by stared at me like I was from another planet. Granted, I live in a small countryside town but still it took me by surprise. I think it's about slowly building up confidence to wear what you want. I began by being the only girl in school who wore skirts or adding bows to my hair. Then I gradually got to wearing cuter clothes and now I could easily go out wearing an outfit built around a sparkly mesh skirt. I'm more comfortable with my style when in capital city, but whenever I want to wear something that genuinely just makes me happy in my hometown I can. Also, how could I possibly resist slipping a bow or sparkly star-shaped hairclip in my hair on days when I jsut feel cute in ''normal'' clothes? No one gives a farting unicorn about a small detail like that^^ I've never worn lolita (I just LOVE watching videos and pictures) before, but if I did I would maybe start by going to a meet-up. It's easier when you're surrounded by likeminded people. Sorry about the long ramble, but I do wish you'll take the chance to see what it would feel like to go back. World nees more lolitas, that's a fact!
@@Mintshake_bunny Thank you you so much, I truly appreciate your reply! The sad part is that I was really brave and wore Lolita fashion in middle school but as fast as I grew up and became a teenager I felt the need to look like everyone else to not get judged... I know that most people probably think like we do and wished that our daily life showed some more colors. Everyone is probably a bit afraid of showing their true self when everyone walks around with jeans and a t-shirt. I’m not sure if I want to go back 100% but I definitely would love to add some of it into my daily fashion!! Maybe some classic/princess Lolita🥰 but truly thank you that you took your time to write! Have a nice day💕
if it makes you feel any better about selling it, I still own and love country of sweets ;w; It was my first AP piece & the matchmaker of our friendship, so I really cherish it!
Oh wow so many cute outfits! Really makes me wish I had a nice wintery themed dress but none of the winter prints I love come anywhere near my size that I know of. But it's a lot of fun seeing what other people do for their coords and gives me ideas for the future. Looking forward to seeing the Roast and Toast!
Hey Lor! I've been cosplaying for ten years, and now that I'm getting into lolita fashion - just putting together my first coords - I've been wondering, would it be considered disrespectful for me to cosplay characters in lolita fashion? Princess Bubblegum (wig, facepaint, etc.) from adventure time in a pink coord, that kind of thing! I think I may have to dance a fine line between staying in the lolita category while also representing the character. What are your thoughts? Vic 💖
These coords are so cute. Happy winter to you as well. Could you add their social media handles in the description or a comment so they are slightly easier to find? I would like to follow some of them.
I know this is an old video but that pose with the hand out is generally a “meme” in the cosplay community mainly cosplayers that cosplay from idol media, so many cosplayers did this pose so it became a type of meme and i guess in made its way to Lolita
Heyyy!!! I dont really watch this channel, but I've seen one of yur videos about Primink n how he should of address Lolita fashion..but I just wanted to say that I love yur dress n I love the Christmas theme of it!! Its giving me some ideas..well, what I saw in the thumb nail I mean..
Hey Lor! What are your opinions on heavily modified brand dresses? I want an OP, what want to have it professionally turned into a JSK. I’m a cis male so brand doesn’t fit me. I don’t want to get shammed for “destroying” my dream dress.
I'm definitely not Lor but here are your options: Find your dream dress in JSK, not all OPs are fit to be JSKs, it's very different Have it professionally turned into a jsk is a good idea but it depends which dress it is because the collar and stuff can change it. If it's your property, it's your property. You can burn it for all I care, just be careful if you care about it. Modify it however you like, the problem is doing it properly
If you’re buying it, it’s yours. Do whatever you need to do in order to make it wearable for you! You don’t owe anything to anyone, your purchase belongs to you, not the lolita community as a whole. Which isn’t to say that the community wouldn’t be supportive, because I think they would be! You can’t please everyone though, and obviously major alterations will affect resale value, but it’s YOUR dream dress. Clothes don’t come in every shape and size, sometimes alterations are necessary, and personally I think it’s really great that you’re willing to put extra money & effort into attaining your dream dress. Sucks that you have to, obviously, but you’re going the extra mile so you certainly deserve to get to wear it. I’m less involved in the lolita comm these days but from what I’ve seen, attitudes are generally much more relaxed towards alterations these days. Obviously I can’t speak for Lor, but I’m sure she’d be supportive. I’m curious to know what the print is :-) anyway, good luck! 💗💗
Also not Lor but seconding Sage, it's your dress and as long as you're happy do what you want with it. If you ever have plans to resell the altered dress on the second hand market just be sure to be very clear about the alterations and the condition of the dress. There will always be people criticizing your (general, not you personally) choices in this fashion, whether you alter brand or not.
If it's your dress that you bought and paid for you should be able to do with it whatever you want. Do find a reputable tailor or seamstress to alter it correctly, though. After investing in your dream dress you want it to look as nice and fit as well as possible. Good luck and ignore any haters! :)
Lor Made a whole video stating that your dress is yours once you bought it, and that means you are ABSOLUTELY allowed to alter it! Especially if you are putting in the effort to get a professional to do it! Please, do alter your dresses on whatever way you need to be happy to wear them!
I’d love to get into actual co ords and such, but clothing for men is HARD TO FIND, the few sites I’ve found seen really scammy. At the moment my pieces are a mix of vintage, handmade and a few fashion pieces I’ve found (I’m aristocrat goth). Any advice for adult men who dress like gay vampires would be GREAT! 😊
just wondering why your preview of your collab with tyler was blurred. i have vertigo, and blurry images make me nauseaus. also, when the first clip u played had blaring music, why didn't u edit that to be quieter? a lot of people have sensitive ears. sorry to complain. i know u wanted positive vibes. i just feel like these are things u might care to hear in terms of editing with people's disabilities in mind.
So I'm not sure if your issue is that the regular waist hits you too high, or too low, but here is my observations as someone who sews and fits dresses to people. From what I've seen a lot of lolita dresses are made for a body-type with a small bust to waist ratio (bust doesn't 'stick out' much) and a shorter torso. Larger sizes with bigger bust circumference measurements don't tend to account for people who are built with a longer torso. So a lot of the 'regular' waist ops and jsks sit with the waist right under the bust on people who have a larger bust-to-waist ratio, because the curve of the fabric around the bust pulls the whole dress up, and there's not enough length in the bodice of the dress. If all of your height comes from your limbs instead of your torso so that you have the opposite issue, and the waist of the dress is sitting too low and causing wrinkles and bunching around your middle, then any dress with a raised waistline, like an empire waist or a babydoll should fit you better because the skirt will flow out from higher up on your body.
