Little tip, you can educate Nick too... check how you’re going to supply them, then install all the new lights fully first keeping the existing light on and working so you can see. You can then isolate and only have to connect 1 light in the dark 👌🏻
People talking about his sliders give the guy some slack it’s his own property first of all second of all he’s not carrying a heavy cable reel for it to fall and cause him any injury... 🤷♂️ nice little video good on you mate 👌

If you hold the + and - on the fan it resets and you can set it to a really low (quiet trickle speed) 👍🏼 Keep it up you’re so much more knowledgable and confident than I was as an apprentice
Excellent job, Adam. A much better lighting scheme for a bathroom. Well thought out placement of the lights. You don't want them looking like they were shoved up there higgledy-piggledy. Marking the ceiling to double-check the placement and then poking a hole to view from the attack is right smart. Will keep you from making a mistake that you can't easily fix.

Great video , nice easy little job and to be proud that you done it yourself . Id say you will be fitting downlights in all the rooms of your house after this . Strange to see Uk still have the un-insulated earth , here in Ireland it is already insulated, so saves alot of messing about with having to fit sleeving .
Nice work. Having a common point like the old wire hole that you can easily see on both side always make a job much easier. One one side you just measure out any obstacles. Then on the other side you do all the centering measurements and adjust to avoid the obstacles.
The only thing you need to do is put a loft lid down light protection cover over lights available from wickes made by loft legs ,you can then safely put your loft insulation over top ,these also stop moisture going into loft creating mold .
