You're right. But it was quite windy in short final area, so it's challenging to hit exactly the threshold. Better safe, than perfect. The runway is not really designed for such an Aircraft.
They come in very low over the houses but if engines are off it's not a problem. And steep climb out. How much runway does it need to land? and to take off. And can it land on grass strips?
