the video focuses on, for lack of a better term, going backward from a table of squared values to approximate the square root of a number. For more math shorts go to www.MathByFives.com
You're a better teacher than my Teacher- I didn't understand it in 90 minutes of class with her, but understood it in 3 minutes with this video. Thus, you're a better teacher xD
I actually can't stand how these people call this teacher crazy, weird, awkward, scary etc.....So freaking ridiculous. To me he is an excellent teacher with a unique approach to teaching, a great fun personality, who speaks clearly and anyone can understand, who keeps you engaged in the lessons etc... He's one of my favorite teachers on here. To the ppl making these rude dumb comments about him, I can certainly say, you really haven't met anyone weird, crazy or scary in your entire life!
There's an old Japanese method that allows you to obtain the exact square roots to as many decimal places as you like, with no rounding or guessing digits. www.afjarvis.staff.shef.ac.uk/maths/jarvisspec02.pdf
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? You can do it." 😅👍 You Sir, are a lyrical poet. Dr. Seuss or something. Math presented through pleasantly weird train of thought beat poetry. Yes. You are a joy! (Why do I feel like I just watched a Kids in the Hall sketch?)
We can even calculate square root of 0.9 or any 0. Numbers by Root 0.9 = x 90/100= x^2 ( ^2 because of root is transfered to right side) Root of 10×9/100 = x Root of 10 × root of 9/ root of 100 = x 3.16 × 3 / 10 = x 0.948 = x
