This is an old rumor or news if i must say. In 2016, when Hyunjoo suddenly out from APRIL in the middle of Tinkerbell promotion, there are an assumption about she was bullied by the other member. Thats why she was out of the blue quit from April. But that time April wasn't that big and DSP denied all of them and case closed just like that. There aren't many people talked about this and Hyunjoo/Hyunjoo's side didn't speak up about anything either. So, this is getting forgotten and burried until her brother speak up.

I get how Korea is a rather hierarchical society, however I don’t think age should account for actions and behaviour. I'm not familiar with April, but realizing that the other girl from "Extraordinary You" is a bully - may be the reason why I can't feel nor sympathize for her character (the one being bullied in the series). I thought that maybe she's still a rookie actress and she still just can't act her character naturally. Because I truthfully can't distinguish her emotions unlike the other casts, it seems so scripted and unnatural to me. I can't even feel sorry for the character when she's being bullied, I just thought that her character is significant because it was needed in the plotline of the story (and she just got the character because she looks so shy and quiet).

I've ever been bullied when i was in high school, and it hurts me physically and mentally. You can just imagine your bullies force you to dance in public, otherwise they will pull your pants down in front of many people. Or, they shoot rubber bands to your face. There is a saying that idols that can't make it most of the times it's because there is a problem with the members, either individuality or as a group and I thinks it's right. Sometimes intl fans get mad at Korean fans for not making a group successful but let's not forget that they see everything we can't. It happened before, if there is at least one good member the fans try to protect the group but we can see that everything comes out one day.

It is 32 Minutes away from Gwanak Middle School, by bus (not including walking time). D) The Dorm is a short walking distance from DSP. E) Seoul National University Boramae Medical Center [서울특별시 보라매병원] is West of Gwanak Middle School and Northwest of central Gwanak-gu, Seoul. It is 14 minutes away from Gwanak Middle School by bus (not including walking time). F) DSP to Boramae Medical Center is 43 minutes by bus (not including walking time). G) There are AT LEAST 2 hospitals in Gangnam. H) There are AT LEAST 7 other hospitals between DSP Media and Boramae Medical Center. Proving Hyunjoo lied with her own "evidence" and allegations: 1) Hyunjoo's statement said she was "forced to live 24/7 with her perpetrators with no one to turn to for help". This means Hyunjoo always lived in the dorm, except on Holidays (as per a radio station broadcast interview in 2015 or 2016). 2) Hyunjoo's brother released 1/2 of Hyunjoo's medical document to prove Hyunjoo's alleged "extreme choice" on May 10, 2016. 3) April released their Spring Album April 27, 2016 (that's less than 2 weeks before ^ her "extreme choice"). 4) If Hyunjoo were forced to live in the dorm, she certainly would have been "forced" to do so in the middle of their comeback. 5) Hyunjoo's medical report proves that she was taken to Seoul National University Boramae Medical Center [서울특별시 보라매병원]. 7) If Hyunjoo were in the dorm when she did her "extreme choice" then her condition was not life threatening and she chose to go to a hospital closest to her house in Gwanak-gu to "recover" - but if it wasn't life threatening then was it really an "extreme choice"??????? No it wasn't. So if Hyunjoo were in the dorm then she lied about attempting an extreme choice. 8) But if Hyunjoo were living at home in Gwanak-gu, then she was taken to one of two hospitals near her family house, which means that Hyunjoo lied about being "forced to live 24/7 with her perpetrators with no one to turn to for help" Pick the lie you want to believe - I think both are lies, I think Hyunjoo was living at home and I think she faked an "extreme choice" to get out of promoting for the Spring Album because she was already missing lots of practices as proven by multiple broadcasts between April 27 - May 12 where April appeared as 4 for their fan services videos and Tinkerbell choreography practice video. She was admitted "May 10, 2016 23:38" and released "sometime" on May 11, 2016. 8) Hyunjoo goes on HIATUS from April on May 12, 2016 to "focus on her health" (as if someone who actually attempted an extreme choice due to severe bullying would ever return to their perpetrators) 9) During her hiatus Hyunjoo films "Momin's Room" which released November 1, 2016. 10) Did Hyunjoo have a recovery period??? They hold up the choreographer who came to teach them, get scolded, and the choreographer refuses to teach them because of Hyunjoo's encouraged laziness. Now for my 2 cent speculation: Hyunjoo went to school to be an ACTRESS. Hyunjoo joined DSP as an ACTRESS TRAINEE. Hyunjoo always wanted to be an actress but DSP convinced her to join April instead (most likely for exposure because it's faster to get good acting parts when you have a fan base to leverage). Hyunjoo debuted her acting career November 1, 2016 in a support role on Momin's Room, during her HIATUS from April. Between this and joining The Unit she didn't do very well landing parts. Hyunjoo wouldn't get her first starring role until the Witch Store on September 10, 2019, after Unity disbanded. Her reception was mediocre. Then, Hyunjoo started to get jealous of April members because they had been debuting their own acting careers to INSTANT success while Hyunjoo was on The Unit. Naeun had 3 successful web dramas in 2 years - all 3 she was in the leading role (ATeen 1 & 2, and Extraordinary You). The fact of the matter is that Hyunjoo always wanted to be an actress and if you watch her acting SHE SUCKS. I firmly believe that Hyunjoo was the jealous one because she relied on her looks to carry her lack of talent in anything else and it didn't carry her as far as she wanted. So she had to cut down April who had everything she wanted but wouldn't put in the actual work to accomplish. Hyunjoo is a proven liar! Stop believing her!!
