Hi Tina. Love seeing all yr finishes and fully finishes. What a lovely thought of doing those gloves for yr step father. Nice colours too. So nice to see you back again. Xx
Thanks so much, it's nice to find something I can do to help a little . It's one of those conditions you can't fix, so bringing comfort is all we can do 🙂
Nice to see you and your beautiful projects again, looking forward to the April vlogs! I liked a lot your FFOs, especially the "Between two Pines" 🥰🧵🪡🧶
Your framed Pines stitch is gorgeous. I love your Durene Jones bunnies. I just finished 3 of her little spring bunnies. The white bunnies in the green grass withe the flowers and butterflies. She is one of my favorite designers. Your dad will really enjoy his mittens. I have cold hands and use mine during the day, a lot.
I meant to say, if if hadnt have been for you, I would never have managed to knit socks. I am still a long way from being good but have now done three pair. Thank you again, I think you are fabulous. From Brisbane Australia.😍 @@Simplyinstitches
Hi Tina How lovely to see you today and find out you are doing April vlogs, I have been watching all your old videos since discovering you a month ago and I have to say you have inspired me to start cross stitching again! I’m currently doing an Emma Congdon book mark that was free with cross stitching magazine and I’m loving it and I also managed to buy one of her books from FB marketplace. I’ve also kitted up to do a wedding piece for a friend who’s getting married in November and I’ve managed to find nearly all the floss from stash! So thank you for the inspiration. I shall be sharing my makes on my channel soon ❤ xxx
Yay! Hi Tina, so good to see you, like me you are coming out of hibernation 😂 it feels like winter is never ending this year, I’m sure I have Trench Foot 😂 it’s all that rain. ❤ Suze. X
Fan of Drops Nord as well . A nice mix of projects , I am self employed on the Cross Stitch world but a knitter and crocheter .....okay...anything that involves playing with yarn, floss and string
A life full of my favourite things . I'm jealous you work in cross stitch but understand it's not all fun when you craft to order. I have worked on commissions for craft blogs before and soon realised I love developing an idea but I ran out of steam before the end because the pressure of a deadline . I'm sure your attitude is far more professional than mine 😁
@@Simplyinstitches Cross stitch itself would be like knitting etc. for me A hobby, Think of it like those people who do all those lovely hand dyed yarns, they sell a product by day but knit for pleasure after work. Oh, I don't think I would like to do actual cross stitch as a job. I would not care to turn it into work. :(
❤hi Tina!!! Look forward to spring vlogs💗 I put my winter socks away and get out my shorter ones !!!!🎉 Just not yet !!!as snow maybe back here in the week!!!! Elaine🏠💞
you make knitting look so easy, but I can't even finish a dish cloth. My friend is coming to visit this week. She helped me start the cloth. Maybe she can help me continue working on it. The glove you are making for your step father is beautiful. How kind of you to think of him.
Hi Anita , yes I always throw them in the washing machine on a wool wash and they have been fine . The one I've just knit feels more delicate so I think I may hand wash . It may not be a sock yarn . I was surprised the Nord was OK with the Alpaca but I wonder if its the nylon and wool content that saves it . Obviously all machines are different , proceed at your own risk , simply in Stitches takes no responsibility for your out come 🤣😘
Looking forward to your vlogs and seeing your lovely Tarot take shape❤ isn’t it amazing how motivation returns with the sun. I sowed dozens of seeds today -a bit late but the first time I could be bothered because of all the rain and gloom x
Hi Tina love all your makes the mitts, the cross stitching and the cardigan pattern. The Marlow murder club drama you watched on TV was great wasn't it? Such a pretty town to film. There are 3 books in total, the one you've seen, death comes to Marlow is the 2nd book and the queen of poisons the 3rd. Hope you manage to get them. Happy reading and I hope you had a nice weekend.
Hi Tina nice to see you...to see you nice😂 . I had a bit of a brain wave, when you showed the fingerless mitts you knitted for yourself, if you knit the pattern again, why not make a round of holes (as in button holes) thread some yarn through, then when it's cold gather up the top, from fingerless to mittens.!!
@@Simplyinstitches not at all, The Lord is Risen Happy Easter 🥰...it was wonderful to gather with family and the weather was perfect. I hope yours was just as perfect...getting back to your video now I want to see all your beautiful projects 💝🤩😘
